Been researching these cars for months and bought one tonight. Stoked for my adventures. Love how homeboy is legit zooming through the car trails which gives me life. Enjoying the video!
I bought my wife an Sport Outer Banks a couple weeks ago fully loaded with every standard option. It gets 34.5 mpg highway, 5 mpg more than what Ford advertises...and has a moonroof. We couldn't be happier.
I saw the 28mpg on there and was fine with it. Knowing in Eco Mode you can get up to that made my day. I noticed the new Escapes advertise 32 mpg, by the last trip, I was averaging well over 36mpg on the highway.
Great video with a lot of good information! I have had my Bronco Sport Big Bend for about 2 years now and I love how capable it is off-road even without Badlands chops. I would like to make one correction on the suspension though. EVERY Bronco Sport comes standard with HOSS (High performance Off-road Stability Suspension) system. This is what helps even the lower trim levels perform so well off-road. The difference in the Badlands is that it is 1” higher on ground clearance and that it is tuned for more rigorous off-roading than the other models.
Thanks for the review. I had a hard time looking for a video of the exact one O just ordered. I just ordered this one 2022 one with moon roof too. Yours is the only video I found with a moon roof so thanks.
Hi Jeff -- Excellent video -- these little Bronco's are amazing! My wife drives an Outer Banks and loves it. One question -- did you do this with the stock tires? if not, what size/type of tires did you use? Thanks for the video
Is that maple springs road that you can take from Silverado? I just bought this exact car two days ago and I do live in OC. This looks like a fun thing to do. Please let me know
Just bought an Outer Banks today and will see delivery in three days. The engine was peppier than I thought it would be - surprised there. You're not going to do any drag racing but it seems to have a fair amount of low end torque. It reminds me a lot of my 2006 Colorado in the steering although not as rubbery. This is a nice 'off road' replacement for an Escape especially if you like the boxier look.
Got an Outer Banks Kodiak Brown 2 weeks ago. Gets better mpg than the 2017 Escape we had. Got it because it has all the bells and whistles. Happy with it so far. We live in Colorado. Hope it does better than the Escape up in mountains
I LOVE mine....truly exactly what I wanted and needed for all of my adventures. Typically a month in O have a handful of dislikes, but not one so far with this beauty.
Nice video, this is the model I was looking at! Some stress you have to go with the badlands and I get it but nice to know the Outerbanks model is pretty solid as well!
I ordered one in January and got it in May. I like it but was really disappointed that the leather seats were not perforated like I saw they had in the showroom. Your's looks like it has perforated leather seats- my car has regular pleather-looks super cheap. DidFord just decide to change this without letting people know??
Muchachos, ahora nos volvimos a ilusionar quiero ganar la tercera, quiero ser campeón mundial y al Diego, en el cielo lo podemos ver con don Diego y con la Tota, alentándolo a Lionel.

Just the review I needed. An honest opinion from someone who likes offroading and has driven BOTH models. Great video!

At what speed in the freeway ? My wife just bought herself one

Did you get yours yet?

Yep, this is Maple Springs truck trail up all the way to the radio towers
5:07 Put an altimeter app on your phone....you just passed several cell towers....
I own a outer banks, however I’ll disagree with your comment that it “whoops everything in its class”. It’s doesn’t beat the Jeep Cherokee trail hawk.
The Outer Banks doesn't - but the Badlands does, in my opinion.
@@TheHooniverse which is truly all that matters. You gained my sub 🙌🏻
Do you find that the Badlands has more ground clearance then that of the outer banks?
I believe with the optional larger tires on the Badlands, you gain an inch extra ground clearance
great review, jeff, & so cool that you take your "favorite copilot" with you -- making awesome memories for both of you.

Got the Outer Banks. Bought it in June. 33,000 out the door. Minus the moon roof

Great video - I was looking for more discussions about how the non-badlands trims do off road. AND, you also weren’t reading a brochure to us. Thanks!

Most adorable copilot!!!
Great video man..!
Great video and awesome views! Any chance you know the name of the song?

Any new FORD is best under 35k.
Oh wow, that's the O.J. Simpson: Killa/get away edition. Thank you!
I love my Outerbanks.
