Would this work using organza fabric instead of ribbon? I have trouble finding organza ribbon locally.
It would work, it'd just be more work to cut into strips of fabric. Anddddd.. I guess technically, if you were using ribbon (100% even-width strip) the petals would be almost 100% identical........ Buttt.. in the end, it won't matter. TLDR: It would work. lol

I am going to my very first cherry blossom festival and wanted to make one of these! I could not find the tool you use to hold while you burn it. But I'm using rounded tweezers. I wanted to know if using polyester ribbon was safe or will it catch fire too fast?
Hi dear, Thank you so much for tuning to my channel, I am so glad that you liked the flower. You can use the rounded tweezer as well. It works the same and about the ribbon I am not sure about using just polyester ribbon for this flower, because I haven't tried it yet with just polyester ribbon. But you can give it a try, see how it goes..You may get a better result than mine. So good luck and wish you to have lots of fun and excitement in the festival.
