Luka has become by far my favourite here for being so unique. His stoicism and loyalty is so unlike the other foxes, and rather unfoxlike that it sets him apart. Whereas a lot of the most affectionate foxes become a giggling mess and roll over, Luka sits there by your side silently expecting and enjoying the affection and stays there. I'm sure the expectation of snacks is also involved but his reserved nature for a fox is admirable.

Every time I see a fox, I am reminded of my childhood when I saw that almost every woman of the last century wore a fox-skin collar with a long fluffy tail. It was because of the beautiful tail of the fox that they were killed for collars. I can’t even imagine how many foxes were killed for this inhuman cruel fashion of that time… It still makes me sad and disturbs to think about it. And fox hunting is also an unjustified cruel entertainment of the rich. Thank God that in today's world people are raising their voices for the rights of animals to life and their protection from cruelty. All animals have the right to a safe existence. Thanks to kind people like these guys and others who care. They sincerely love and care for these absolutely beautiful and very intelligent animals, foxes! God bless you.😊🙏🏻❤

It was so nice to see the foxes again. Poor sweet Luka just wanted more pets and attention. He looks a little sad. He must miss his brother, Valentine 💔.
