Got to be careful with Lennox, Trane and Carrier motors as they are designed to be OEM. Sometimes you can get away with off the shelf replacement parts.
@@WWHVAC You sadly have to be OEM today. I sharpied a note in the units of the original model and serial number just in case when I went to a generic part. I hated any call-back.
@@WWHVAC Don't forget shade on a condenser in Texas when you can. I solved problems getting it out from direct sunlight radiation. Gets worse as it gets older.
@@WWHVAC WW, you're talking about the exhaust. I'm talking about the rooms the furnaces are located: A furnace in a room typically needs a vented door to ensure proper airflow and prevent carbon monoxide buildup, as furnaces require oxygen to combust properly and need a way to vent exhaust gases; a vented door allows fresh air to enter while allowing exhaust to escape, making it a necessary safety feature.
Just a little info, I DO NOT work in the industry, but I do haul things 😉. Look into all the companies that the big names own! They use the exact same parts, maybe with a different mounting area or whatever. Happens that they ALL buy parts from the same companies with VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE. I know for a fact that they ALL use a certain company for the housing and squirrel cage parts (blower), with different part numbers. BUT, they are made by the exact same press, in the exact same building, by the same people, then sent to Mexico for assembly with the motor and the rest of the cabinet 🤔 Hello tariffs! 😝
Ferguson priced me a 21/2 ton heat pump the other day rite at $5000. I about fell over. I’ve had an account for over 20 years with those greedy suckers. That was for a r32. I ended up getting a 410 for a little over 3000 after I complained
I wouldn’t say the kid is weird for not wanting to make eye contact or acknowledge you lol…. Times are just different man and I can agree that technology may be a big part of that
Yep social media.cant keep there heads out of there phones
I would do a temperature rise test to see if it's not too high due to a partially plugged evaporator coil also to CYA.
👍🏽

I'm an OEM guy unless it's a condenser fan motor

@@WWHVAC I often upped the condenser horse power by a fraction and fan speed on a standard condenser.
Air flow is everything.

You got that stool from Thor 😂😂
" weirdo kids"😂 yup, they're all like that ,no social skills, nothing like us the 90's kids
I agree them phones have something to do with it. Nobody talks anymore,
When two units fail at the same time, look to see how and where there is an interconnection first.
WW, Shouldn't those upstairs' furnaces have vented doors not solid doors?
They have exhaust pipes sticking in there venting out the side of house

Im not talking about the exhaust. Is an extra vent in the space
If you would have blasted some Lynyrd Skynyrd or Led Zeppelin on your radio that kid would have sprung to life.🎸
🤣 I'll have to check Sky and Zep out. Maybe I need to get with the program
no carbon monoxide test huh no combustion analysis
Good catch
How would they help ? It’s not a oil fired system
Lol yo ass
@@musicjunkiesstudiodoesn’t need a be a oil furnace to complete a combustion test on it lol

All these years doing hvac and you still don’t have a clue. Unbelievable.
@Hvacpro123 what do you mean you still don't have a clue?
