But now the other one Nikki omgosh I have to put him up when anyone comes over or he will tear somebody up! No kidding. He’s gotten mad at me at times enough that he’s sunk those teeth into one of my legs or arms. I yell and he takes off to another room for about two seconds and comes back for more. By then though I have water bottle in hand. He hates that bottle. Anyone else ever had a cat that would do anything like this or do I just have a demonic cat? Wish I could show y’all pictures. I still love him anyway. When he’s not mad he can be the most loving kitty ever. Ha! Just realized something. I had an old boyfriend like that once.

I believe this was how the screenwrters played it: Her confronting Arroyo in the previous scene was just a slick little ploy of hers to lure him to her home so that she could kill -- not arrest -- him for murdering Odette -- justifiably, of course.
if I remember the episode, the guy got of the charges of rape on a technicallity so Gina set him up so she could arrest/shoot him. She was not sleeping at all.
This was the most stupid thing to do for this guy. He should have known Gina hated him, she was armed and would use any chance to shoot him. By american laws, she had wide rights to defend her home, that's if being a police officer on duty was not enough.
Hate to sound like I'm victim shaming, but you have to look at the entire scenario in which I believe Gina was blame shifting. In season 1's episode, "Give a little, take a little", from the beginning she was cocky about her assignment "there isn't a TRICKY situation we can't handle". Then later on, Trudy warned her not to go alone, and she being cocky once again, didn't listen. She then finds herself in a compromising situation that she put herself in. Then she had the nerve to unecessarily be the arresting officer and killed her "rapist". Now we get to this episode where she snaps on Sonny for saying "after all, she (Odette) was the one who was raped". That prompted her to remind him of what happened in "Give a little". Had Gina acted professionally and not gotten her feelings involved, she could've avoided that whole situation that led to Arroyo coming in her house.
