I've had my 2013 C/V for 10 yrs, I haul my expensive bikes to trails/gravel rides, ideal for expensive bikes, deadlocks/alarm, like a Vault for bikes, awesome vehical !!! Fiat replaced this beauty with a POS from Europe, not even close, this is the best C/V ever made period.. mine is red with custom wheels, lots of compliments everywhere..
Where can you switch out the aluminum floor in the back for the storage floor and about? How much does it cost? Do you get a discount to swap them out?
@Morocho Vallecitos I paid $4800 for it, but it had exactly 200,000 miles on it. Who ever had it took really good care of it. Just replaced the battery, put quickstruts on the front and put a pair of those load leveler shocks on the back, aand maaan does she ride like new. So far the best work truck I've ever owned.
It's essentially very similar to the base model Caravan with the seats removed. Having the windows covered provides a little extra security (harder to see inside) as well as a larger area to place signage advertising your business. What it really was however, was a stopgap solution to compete with small cargo vans like the Ford Transit Connect and Nissan NV200 that were selling very well. Take an existing vehicle, strip it down, and sell it as a small cargo van.
Its for guys like me. Thats why they call it tradesmade. Its a very comfortable low key work van. Much cheaper than the Caravan with all those not needed seats in the way.
Because they upped the suspension to hold 1800 pounds of cargo and can tow 3600 pounds. That’s a big deal. They also have different configurations that allow a steel partition separating the cab and cargo areas, as well as steel shelving that can be added.
we have 3 for work a 14, 13, and another 14. the first 14 has like 210k on it and still runs like a top, the other two are just fine at 157k and 133k
i'm looking to buy one. there's one nearby with 200k miles. would it still be good for a few years of casual use?

I would love to get one and have the window panels painted black.
@@Bonzi_Buddy mine is a red one, with custom wheels, but they came in a few colors, blue/silver/red, but most are white though..

Nice review, but please learn to hold the camera steady. Watching this made me seasick.
I want one
Looking at a 2014 with 65,000 miles.
@ $13,995 it's well above Kelly Blue book, but in June 2021 work vans/trucks are overpriced and scarce
Why are the windows white
No windows. Those are steel panels.
Good video. However, when the seats are able to go down into the floor in the passenger version, why on earth would someone buy this version?
