They are so similar because of the Latin Monetary Union (LMU), in which a lot of European countries took part in during the second half of the 19th century. These coins are just up my alley: beautiful, rather large silver coins.
This is the most crown sized coins I've seen in one place at any time. Although I don't collect those I can still appreciate the beauty of these coins.
World silver coins are my favorite coins to collect.Sometimes they can be difficult to identify even with books and apps but I guess that's the fun of collecting them.I'm hoping to pick some up tomorrow from my local dealer.
I realy love this 0.900 silver 25g coins of the latin coinage treaty era. That wasn't just currency but also valuable bullion one could keep somewhere safe, instead of the fiat currency. You're screwed if you kept paper bills pesetas, italian lire, german marks from the ww2 era etc.
Hey there Christian I came across a $20 bill I had and something caught my eye. I'm curious if it could possibly mean it may be worth something. On the front side on the $20 bill on Presidents Jackson's face I saw a black line running vertically from above the black ink that says Federal Reserve Note to a few inches past his left eye. Above the black line I believe the first word is I can't really make out the first word World Richmond CVS. It's not in ink from a pen and it's not handwritten. It looks the size and font from typing on a computer. I'm thinking maybe someone had a receipt in the their pocket and it rubbed onto the money. I'm thinking if words rubbed off from a receipt onto money it wouldn't be so clear and the ink from the receipt maybe smeared onto money. I'm just trying to look for answers it looks like the words are printed into the money. I'd greatly appreciate to hear back from you if at all possible.

I love world silver coins!! Do many different designs and silver content throughout the ages!
It’s really fun to see the variety of designs across so many countries and times!
Another gem of a video. Love the detailed coin unboxing.
