Way to go Jen! I grew up on a small dairy farm and learned to drive tractor before I could ride a 2 wheel bike! My dad would set me on the John Deere 50, put it in low gear and point to a fence post or tree in the fence line, telling me to keep my eye on it so I drove in a straight line. He would pick rocks or pitch grain bundles into the wagon behind the tractor. It was a great start. You'll be on to bigger and better things now that you got your start. It's fun!

There is a lot to be said for women who seem to fit in just fine with the men that know how to work with the brains and their hands and seem to know something about everything and do it well. Having her by his side helping and him having great patience to teach and appreciate her efforts is part of that equation. So, Jen, you, the southern girl and me the mid-western girl know the best of both worlds...............playing in the dirt with your favorite guy and having that sexy black dress and high heels hanging in his closet..............let's call it a day on the ridge.
