Nice. I bought a cnc and an edgebander, and sometimes I think subbing it out might have been the way to go. You might consider having the cnc shop pre-drill your screw locations so you don’t have to mess with the square.
I've been doing this same work. Mostly I cut and assemble. Customer just installs. But now I have got to where I just cut them, edgeband, install hardware with zero tool required fasteners for assembly.
That's awesome! Sounds like the dream job. I'm on the other end, assembly and install. This is a side hustle for me so having someone else CNC cut and edgeband has been huge. Worth the cost.
I just bought a 5x5 CNC and plan on using it for cabinetry. I am a hobbyist but love building cabinets. What software are you using for you cabinet carcass designs?
Great question, could have included more cost breakdown in the video. I order them through a local wood supplier (they do cabinets, trim, etc). The amount of time it saves me, yes for sure! It costs $125 CAD/sheet of ply (includes plywood, edgebanding, and cutting). So about $50 CAD extra per sheet, on average receiving 1.2 cabinets per sheet of ply. I will do a greater breakdown video of cost per cabinet after I've completed them with doors, hardware, paint, and install!

But hey now you have a CNC! Haha if only I had the space. That is a great idea, streamline assembly even further.

@@KlassenWoodworks hmm im gonna have to check around in my area to see if I can get this done here in Oklahoma.
Consider buying yourself an x-carve CNC? You could do all that panel milling yourself and save $$.
Oh yes we have! Haha been eyeing a CNC from avid. Need more space already. 😂
are you selling the design plans??
No, this is just the way our sheet goods are processed. You would need a CNC with some software that will cut everything as needed.
Do you have these files available?
