Fly Fishing British Columbia's Corbett Lake [Series Episode #3]

In this episode we are fly fishing for trout at Corbett Lake near Merritt and Kamloops British Columbia. We catch and release exciting Kamloops Rainbow Trout with a variety of flies from Chironomids to Damsels to Mayfly dries. We start the day with Blood worm patterns and Chironomids under an indicator. Corbett Lake has some great shoal areas that drop into deep water. We were fishing the drop-off in about 12 feet of water. Then as the waters warm Damsels start to hatch and we cast and pull Damsel and Dragon imitations. In the afternoon this fish start rising in the shoal area to Mayfly dries so, we switch to and Adams and have a very fun couple of hours fly fishing on the surface. I hope you enjoy this episode.
