My grandmothers grandmother was full Cherokee, she ended up in Ky on the trail of tears & that's where my grandma (mother's mother) was born. I've always felt a part of my spirit is close to the traditions, beliefs and rituals of the natives and I've always felt somehow seprate in a way from the white man even though I am one. I remember running and playing with my native American friends as a child and feeling a spiritual presence when I was with them.
