Bought the Non-Sport Terra VL 4x2 (2023 acquired) and never looked back. Things I like: (1) Ride quality is really good as long as you follow the recommended tire psi (Stock Tires: 35-37). (2) The cabin doesn't feel like you're being suffocated. Very spacious. (3) Pot holes and speed bumps are smooth. Like a boat. If you have a bad back like me or have elderly passengers, Terra is for you. Just make sure to also lower/match your speed when approaching. (4) Slow 1st and 2nd gear. I am ok with this since it avoids front collisions. Light foot acceleration is recommended but can easily overtake other vehicles when needed. If you want a fast car, get a Bugatti Chiron. Things I can live without: (1) Auto Hold & Adaptive Cruise Control - You are more involved when driving. Keeps you alert specially during bumper to bumper traffic. (2) Power Liftgate - Only 1/4 of the opening is heavy, after that, the dampers will assist you in opening/closing. Plus, less parts to replace. (3) Android Auto - Having a cable attached is fine since it also charges my phone while being used for Google Maps. FYI: 2023 manufactured Terra's (Sport and Non-Sport) doesn't have a built-in offline map vs the first released batch. Things to consider: (1) Tint - Do not choose a tint that is 5% lower VLT. The low beam headlights on the Terra is not that bright vs aftermarket. These cannot be replaced unless the entire headlight assembly. (2) Dashcam (applies to all) - Do not put a bypass wire to the battery and fuse. This will void your warranty. Ask your dealer to verify. (3) Pocket Wifi - Invest in a good pocket wifi for your data Maps and the streaming media for the 2nd row display (VL variant). Streaming device will turn off if the car's alternator is off. (4) Coins / Loose Change - For now, no available aftermarket center console organizer is available for the 2022 Terra. Use a plastic cup instead for your loose change. - Happy Driving
I love this car, very much safety features.I never had a car in my life.I'm 74 yrs.old but if ever by chance come to me to own one it must be a Terra or nothing else.
just got the black ones! we paid for VL 4X2 unfortunately the dealer said that for 3 months they will be releasing this sports version only. so we have no other choice. preferred the chromed grille, but so far Im loving our black terra sports 4X2. mafia feels 😅 only disadvantage is we got a smaller headunit compared to the old ones
Nissan Terra's Version of Black Series like in Mitsubishi Montero Sport Black Series well if this was out last year when were few days and weeks away from getting our montero black series we might have chosen this too as final pick but overall we are satisfied with our unit.
Terra Sport does not have built in Map or Navigation system. See the info system. There is no Map button. This feature is available in the VL variant. You pay more for less feature. Lower variant has more feature than top of the line. It does not make sense.
yes exaxtly. couple of weeks ago we reserved yung VL na 4X2 then we paid 30% DP waiitng na kami full payment will be done once the unit arrives. but unfortunately sabi sports na lang available we have no other choice hehe. we got the sports now 4X2 color black. and you're correct from 9inch 8 na lang sya. kahinayang nga still. Im loving our terra. laki ng diperensya sa fortuner when it comes sa ride.
I am not sure but maybe the 9inch screen has better resolution than the 8inch in Terra Sport. Hope some reviews that. I am still not happy with Nissan because of this small thing. They should learn from other brands. No they just have to be logical. Top of the line with less or lower features.
Really Nissan? A Php 2M+ vehicle with a steering column without telescopic function? This is why the Chinese automakers are incrementally gaining ground in the local auto business because the traditional players are stuck in the twilight zone thinking that it is still a captured market.
Yeah it's fine if it doesn't have power tailgate cuz it's for the women hahaha, my family will just buy this as a change for our Fortuner instead of the new Fortuner...
Nissan Terra Sport vs Ford Everest Sport vs Montero Sport Ralliart.. vs Fortuner anu na? wla kayong Sport.. maiiwan tlga kayo sa ire at sa daan ng mga Sport nato.

Nissan dealer did not inform me when I got my unit.

Now they tell buyers that only Sport is available in a few months. So buyers have no choice. Cmon Nissan be fair to your customers.
