When we increase buffer size we also increase the latency coming through the headphones. Most of the interfaces comes with option of direct monitoring, so while we are recording at higher buffer sizer we hear the metronome later and play accordingly. Does this affects the audio quantisation in the DAW? Does the signal register late or is compensated by the DAW?
You should always record as raw as possible 😊. After the recording you can add effect and plugin but when the recording is finished and you don't like that particular effect you can't remove it
