I live in California, and have known Tony since about 1989. He is a wonderful fine artist, storyteller and Imagineer. How wonderful for him to be documented for his work on DLP (EDL).
Wow - thank you so much for posting this. The insights that Tony gives on the thinking behind Paris and Disney parks in general explain why Disney parks are so special.
I've been here just once so far. For a single day (Only D-L, not Hollywood Studios), during our visit to Paris, as part of a three week trip around Europe. It was early June of 2010. I had recently graduated H-S and turned 18. I must say, their versions of Big Thunder Mountain & Space Mountain are the BEST!! Oh yeah, and I applaud their Pirates OTC for avoiding the movie influence updates. No animatronic Johnny Depp to be found there! It's also nice to know their Star Tours has kept the original Flight to Endor.
Tony Baxter has done a lot of nice things at Disney. But in a film clip about some little know experiences to be had at Disney Land in the 1950's etc he showed some things & made some comments that I felt took away from happy thoughts & memories of the early park & it sold my positive expectations for what I was going to see & hear. One of the things I've enjoyed about see the film clips of Diane Disney Miller is learning more about Walt's family. For one thing that her Mom and Dad & occasionally her family staying in the apartment in Disney Land together. I enjoyed that story once I had been told the apartment was there in a different film clip.
OMG YES PLEASE A TANGLED RIDE!!! :) Man, what a legend! I've been watching this with my mouth open, just being amazed and blown away by all his knowledge and his stories. Thanks for sharing this with us!!! Well done Axel!
Vive europark and co. Adieu feue la magie Disney
32:29 every land has details upon details
Frontierland is really incredible for this. We love it 😍

I would legit DIE if I'd be able to meet him like this. Amazing. Thank you so much for posting this.

Ugh I wish he could do this for every park
great video, nicely done axel
Excellent video and so interesting
who's that guy with the pin hehe
Do they still do this tour?
now that was an opportunity not to be missed
Will Disneyland Paris ever have Splash Mountain?
NEO Vision maybe the new frozen land might have a Frozen themed version
L'évacuation de BTM pile derrière lui 😂
