Yes. You can forget about walkability. You are going to drive to do just about everything. They could do a better job of putting shops into a neighborhood. Yes you live in the woods. Be ready for wildlife. Lizards frogs and snakes are common. You'll occasionally see deer, hawks and even bald eagles. Yes alligators too. They usually get removed from lakes... Questions about snakes are among the most common threads on Nextdoor.
For a boardwalk, you need to go to Daytona.
If you love, golf, tennis, the beach, the pool, watersports and fishing you're going to the right place. If you like seasons and hills, go somewhere else.
Be ready to roast during the summer. Even if you get up before sunrise you'll be sweating bullets.
