Great vid sir! I ride my KLR Adventure with tennis shoes, but put a Happy Trails extended shift lever, which made a big difference. Also put a National Cycle tall V Stream windshield that deflects the air over my head, and I am 6'1". These KLR's are so rideable. I've put 3400 miles on her in 2 1/2 months. Ride on!

Been biking for years and this is the first channel I've felt compelled to subscribe to, we're really getting in to episode 1 of an awesome series I feel. Ride on!

Great vid, buddy! I love the new mods, and I have the 2022 KLR adventure model, but like you, I have been doing some similar mods. Nice job! Be careful offroad...she likes to lay down from time to time. 😀

Would highly reccomend a thermobob. just installed one on my 22. Will help keep the cylinder round over its life. Look it up.

Happy Trails Products makes a one inch longer than stock shift lever that is a quality product. Nice looking bike!

Im shocked you didnt find and upgrade your pegs. As soon as I find a good alternative to these slick things, im buying it

It's something I want to do in an attempt to get more feel. However, I'm concerned that will also mean more vibration as well.

I replaced my foot pegs and it does increase felt vibration, but only slightly. The foot pegs themselves are rubber mounted to the frame, and that helps reduce felt vibration even with non-rubber foot pegs.

I bought them straight from the dealer. Kawasaki branded.

Any idea where to get aftermarket crash bars for the 2022 klr?

Man, I also put a crosbar pad on my new KLR, and put on some Odi Rogue hand grips, way better than the stock grip's !

I've heard mixed opinions on this. I've heard that on the Gen 2s they made it a bit stronger, and that many people never have issues. So, at this time, no.

You have issues with it, the Gen2 lever was changed to a one piece plate, from the Gen1, but the spring is the same, and still streaches and breaks, the Eagle Mike torsion spring kit is still the only solution, or the chain will eat your chain guides.

    Will a 16 t front sprocket ⚙️ fit?

      @bobsuruncle679 3 роки тому

Don't believe so. But you can upgrade the rear sprocket, but the problem there is the speedometer will be affected.

So I'm just going to be honest.
If you go 85 mph on that bike you'll get the death wobble, that's unacceptable! and good luck reaching 90 mph.
I mean seriously the KTM 390 is way faster than that bike.
Yeah it's comfortable to ride but it's got no power.
    It's heavy ugly and boring.
Why waste money save up 3,000 more and get the T7 is a way better investment.

Both great bikes and two I looked at. I spent six years living in a country with no speed limits, so take from that what you will. KLR is plenty fun for me. Surprisingly fun on the road. I reckon I'll take it to the track just to be a weirdo.

Not everyone only cares about speed my friend! I like the look of the new KLR personally as well.
