I've spent years gathering knowledge of the gospel, reading scriptures, general conference talks, and listening to BYU speeches whenever I can find them. It's very clear to me that I've gained knowledge but it's also clear to me that it's the simple faith of the regular member is just as powerful. There's so many things which drives me to read and study far beyond the standard works. Most others are satisfied with those alone. Their attitude is not a bad thing as there are so many thoughts and ideas which I ponder over that it appears to me the simple faith has already determined.
I only read because I have to and I know it's good for something. I study more than what I read so that takes a lot of my time also ponder those things. We are all at a different level of understanding when the Spirit touches us, all with inspiration knowing truth as we seek it. The more I spend with God the more he spends with me daily. We measure our Love in Christ how long we obtain the spirit of the Lord throughout the weeks and years without doing something stupid. Repentance is the gift that keeps on giving the great love of Christ and the secret to life of peace and happiness and don't forget about being grateful constantly for your many blessings.
Elder Maxwell has the gift of knowledge and wisdom. He is humble and reverent. He invites the Spiririt of the Lord in all his talks. He testifies of the truths with great power.
Elder Neal Maxwell sure brought knowledge and understanding to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope when I leave this world, I hoped to visit with him after this life.
Neal A. Maxwell truly IS an inspired apostle of Jesus Christ, his wisdom and intelligence were incredible and still are as I know he continues teaching and learning of Christ in Spirit Paradise even to this day. Praise be to God the Father of all of us, and His Son, the Lamb Jesus Christ, and gratitude to His Spirit for revealing these things, in kindness to us always out of love, in the Holy and True and Powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen!

I believe if we would listen to these BYU talks more often we would be better off in life. I have noticed a major distraction that will get rid of the spirit of the Lord faster than unclaimed thoughts is television. Television is a destruction in life unless it is educational or spiritual to help us learn and walk with the spirit constantly. I would have to give elder Maxwell two thumbs up for greatness and if I had a third one I would give it to him. Just think how many people out there that has never listened to elder Maxwell. A golden opportunity.
