LL started working on this Album for a year. His last album was 15 years ago. Farmers Blvd is where LL is from that's was way Em used insurance claim. LL is Eminem's Idol
And... LL reference to 8 Mile .. name of movie Em was in ... Also named that in reference to where Eminem is from. I understand that 8 mi is the road in Detroit that is a demarcation of going to the other side of town... Where he grew up. Trailer parks etc. I need nothing about any one of these guys except their names less than a year ago. Never in a million years had gotten close to even thinking about rap / hip-hop etc. but they're listening to all the different reaction people doing different things I progressively went down a path of things I found that I liked that I had not heard before and each one took me into a little bit of different realms that I had not previously encountered. Strangely enough I stumbled on grapes that were not a specific genre but used all different genres and did them incredibly well. There were others that were stepping Stones to get here but one of the last I had discovered Falling in reverse with Ronnie Radke and he had everything from screaming metal harsh vocals to wrap. Finally I got hooked into looking into more. Different crossovers with people doing collabs with each other inch me into checking things out. I was finally listening to NFdid all the reactors were doing and really liking his new step at least don't know anything about his old but that in turn gave me the to go on up and finally hear what Eminem was about as I had nothing but his name and really nothing in my mind but a negative connotation of what a lot of the rap and stuff that I had ever heard growing up with the whole violence and hate it seemed like. Long way around to say that I appreciate what everybody does and the people who comment. Discovering some of these people so late down the road is opened up worlds that if I start looking into and checking out and like this understanding what a lot of the lyrics are referencing especially with Eminem where every word is almost a connection to something meaningful that I was just not aware of that happened in a world I was not a part of with that scene. Similar to you I think... Even though years I think is more just being young... There are lots of references there that you possibly didn't get. Like to 8 mi thing and even the farmers reference which is where LL is from. I have learned a bunch from the comments of people who are up on it and it's allowed me to check into other things and finally see a much deeper meaning behind so many things that are being said. Just adds to the flavor. So keep on. Let's find out how to pronounce d e u x which is French.. for two. The ex is silent... It is really pronounced a lot like"two' but "due" or "do"... Not shaming you just everybody is having problems with it. The fact that is murdergram 2 is because a long time ago apparently there was an original LL Cool J song murdergram. Signing off. 😊
I am a Gen X. Born 1977. LL COOL J was a Mc way before he became an actor... FACTS. He is 1 of Eminem's idol... Both in their 50's.
*Them* "Why do people over 38 hate today's hip-hop?" *Me* "....... exhibit A"
Farmers was a reference to where LL grew up. Farmers blvd queens. You need to start listening to LL from his beginning.

The BDK line is about "Big Daddy Kane" like his shirt.....the was Big Daddy Kane's album cover that Eminem dressed up as.
Damn super clever wordplay 🔥
