This is so beautiful! Math is everywhere in nature (the Fibonacci sequence in flower petals, fractals in snowflakes, hexagons in honeycombs, etc.), and maybe that’s part of why we find it so satisfying to see these intricate symmetric patterns, just the same as when we appreciate a beautiful flower or snowflake. I’d love to do this workshop, and learning about the history behind the art style sounds super interesting.
It's beautiful. I used to do something like this as a kid for fun and just realized the connection.
Wow my religion's art is really good numerous Mosques are beautified with it and also places like the Taj Mahal
