Magic Power Animated Michael Myers String Lights - Spirit Halloween (Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later)

I bought this off of the Spirit Halloween website around 3 years ago. I received it brand new but it had to be removed from the original packaging so that the batteries could be replaced.
This was made by Magic Power and is much better than the older Michael Myers string lights made by Pan Asian Creations, which did not feature music.

So question, I just bought these, is the music suppose to stay on and are the lights suppose to stay blinking? Because mine are not. It’s like it’s stuck in demo mode
