your switch is fine. you need to measure voltage from the the black wire on the switch to the other contacts. the one closest to the black wire should show voltage all the time the one on the outside position will show voltage when switch is on and no voltage when switch is off. if you want to measure between the contacts on the switch itself use ohms to see when switch is open or closed.

you nead to change the input wiring, the black and red wire, swap them..
you didn't connect the cables correctly no power at end will be - it is like a key connect your device cable to the last pin
