Edit: It can go to any idol but it’s just that you said there wasn’t anything connecting to Elon musk.
As well of the fact they said “flamethrowers and tunnels” because Elon musk did make a tunnel and sell hats and flamethrowers (just a detail to hint toward Elon musk)

I’ve been waiting for “Feed the Machine” ever since UA-cam forced the song on me/recommended the song to me
I never really thought about how tommy basically did everything for L’manberg and pogtopia, even giving up his most prized discs, and Wilbur treats him like he’s a freeloader. If anything it’s the other way around. Wilbur basically just declared himself leader and then got voted out, and now he is edgy and angry about it.

THIS WAS SO INCREDIBLE I AM FREAKING OUT!! When the line, “You’d promise you’d be Tesla, but you’re just another Edison,” came I actually got chills. Especially with how it looked. Eret on one side of a mentally fading Wilbur, Dream on the other, and then Schlatt. Schlatt was behind him, holding him in place almost like he was guiding him to his own self-destruction. It portrayed Wilbur as a traitor, with him being surrounded by people who wanted L’manburg gone. And I’m just ahiebekwbdow. It was so beautiful!

1:13 is such clever imagery, having Wilbur with Jschlatt’s slightly faded horns as a form of foreshadowing. And the line, “If only you could be what you pretend you are.” If only Wilbur could be the charismatic, strong-willed, morally-just, confident president that he displays himself as. But we know that even in his presidency, this wasn’t who Wilbur was (Ghostbur detailed how unhappy and emotionally stressed he really was during his presidency), and Wilbur’s corruption arc really showed his character, stripped of everything he had held dear to him, and able to truly become this corrupt, evil person with nothing holding him back.
And the fact that he is shown with Schlatt’s horns just adds to the symbolism. It shows how alike Wilbur and Schlatt are, they’re true parallels, actually. They’re two people who genuinely wanted to do good for other people and their nation, but quickly became evil and corrupt. Schlatt was corrupted by power and gaining everything, and Wilbur was corrupted by a lack of power and losing everything. They’re two sides of the same coin, and Wilbur did really end up becoming like the person he was fighting against: corrupt, power-hungry, violent, evil.

Thank you so so so much for making this I am absolutely in love with it on every single front- I especially loved the Tesla line with Phil because a H H H H H H. This is an all time favorite it's fucking stunning.
“you promised you’d be tesla but you’re just another edison” is truly such a raw line and it fits so well because wilbur was trying to be as great as his dad, but he ended up corrupted, just as bad as the evil he was trying to defeat. and in the end he died at the hand of the man he was trying to become.

The transitions are just **chef's kiss** wilbur holding up the tnt stick to techno holding up the crossbow, philza appearing during the "you promised you'd be tesla" line and just the song choice in general is SO good for illustrating tommy's turbulent relationship with wilbur. Great job to the both of you!
oh wow,,, 1:41 is soo good, Tommy's expression combined with the lighting from the fireworks makes a terrifying image, you can really see the fear in his eyes! also, really liked the transition at 2:26, the lyrics somehow fit!! and I really love Techno's design here!! good job!!!
everytime it goes “i wanted to be you and do what you do” it panned to wilbur at first during first verse, then it panned to wilbur and techno which shows how much tommy looked up to them, only for them to betray him, which is why it pans to Tommy and Tubbo at the end when it plays the line “i feel so abused” 😳. they both greatly looked up to these two strong, admirable men when they stabbed them in the back (though techno had more reason to considering they betrayed him first with the idea of continuing the usage of governments)
that’s just my view on it, idk if that was intended though!
