      Btw there's the "Optical Flow" in the palette which can be used for this as well.

      Yeah, you can, but it's a bit twitchy when used with a webcam :)

      @@noonesimg True! But with the optical flow you get a color outpur which is great if used with particles for example, cause it also depicts the velocity (?) or direction

    You can also use a cache and cache select with a difference TOP to reduce the one second of lag! Nice Tutorial!

    the tutorial is great and clear, the fact that is super short is perfect. Maybe you can just lower the music a little bit

    Are u able to put this over a video instead of a camera. Or if u have a 3d file use the camera in the seen.

      you can use the trace SOP and then attach it to a sort Random and Particle SOP

    So can you use this method to make something motion reactive? Like moving particles through your movement
