So when I would straighten my hair, I wear so much hairspray and put on so much gel...I also had a best friend who rocked her bangs in 5th grade and I wanted some like her so my mom cut me bangs but they went diagonal instead of horizontal like hers and then I cut my hair short to look like her and I regret it SO MUCH!!
I used to brush my hair everyday the thing is that my hair is curly and if you have curly hair you'll know what I mean thank god I learned that you shouldn't brush your hair everyday if you have curly hair

My hair grew out past my shoulder and then I decided to cut it short again in eighth grade, which was a bad decision because my hair takes so long to grow. I'm so happy I have decided to grow my hair out now that it's long I actually like it. I also cut bang in eighth grade. Bad decision

When i was in my primary school i used to keep my hair in long braids. When i turn 14 my mom took me to hair salon to get my some nice hair cut. The hairdresser suggested me to cut them to shoulder length and some bangs. So i agreed. Unfortunetrly my rather straight hair (i think that braiding keep them straight) turns out to be curly... Very curly... I looked like young David Hasselhoff... Now i love my hair, although a curly hair means that "bad hair day" is at lest 3 times a week :D

I've cut and dyed my hair myself that includes doing the staircase bob (the i want the manager cut) i also did my own face frame and layered hair. In 8th grade i used to put my homemade before it was popular ombre hair in to 7 braids with beeswax and wear it for 2 days wash it then do it again
In junior high....i cut my hair to bangs without telling my parents....after like an hour I regretted it....so I cut the bangs all the way to my scalp instead....lets say that was not a fun time XD.

Loryn, it looks like both of our mothers were into Bobbi pin curls... Also, in 6th grade, I let a hair dresser convince me that getting a perm with large rods would tame my frizzy natural curls. I ended up with a legitimate afro that had pencil diameter curls. My mom refused to let me brush it out.
When I was in the 4th grade I was tired of having bangs (because that is the only style my mom would let me have), so I decided to cut them off. I think it was also a way to rebel against my mom's decision, and the next day at school everyone made fun of me(They called me cutsy, which is not okay for 9 year olds). Side note kids: Don't rebel against your parents.
