I commented on Kentucky ballistics video, telling him to hook his Gatling gun up to a sewing machine you oneupped me and for that sir you receive a like

A mark of genius is a truly original idea that seems obvious only in retrospect. The Murdercycle is genius.

LPL, your latest video today (Halloween’23) on the trigger lock needs a proper mount. Maybe an Asp non-gun for better demonstration/real world applications?
Say hi to Bill for me
@lockpickinglawyer Speaking of genius. Do you have your april fools video Idea ready yet?

That front sprocket needs some sort of clutch so you can ride normal without shooting but when you want to shoot you just squeeze one of the levers on the handlebars to engage the clutch to shoot. Also, WHEELIE SHOOTING!
I think that would be considered a trigger and more than one per pull at that point.. this is all such a bad idea! 😂
A lever to engage/disengage the gun would be better. Call it the safety lever.
What if you stick a mag in once you get going? 💁♂️
Rig it to the front brake
im happy you also had this thought. something like the old central gearbox shifters on a sissy bar huffy bike
Bro, that intro skit was one of the best you've done
Matt - "I'm pretty sure this breaks zero laws"
ATF - "Yet, it doesn't break any laws... yet."
I'm quite sure mounting guns on a vehicle is pretty damn illegal.
@@anteshellsays who? I couldn't find any laws to that effect.

Definitely my favorite demo ranch intro
You need to repurpose the front brake as a reverse-clutch.
So basically, the front wheel will be connected by chain to a shaft that is keyed (think something like the Galactic Empire logo) to fit into a sprocket. A spring pushes the sprocket away from the keyed section until you squeeze the front brake, which pushes the sprocket, compresses the spring, and causes the keyed shaft to lock into the sprocket and begin turning it. The sprocket is connected to the gun and turns the cylinder. Now you can get the bike up to speed and squeeze the front brake lever to begin firing the gun.
I hope Matt reads this comment. This is a legit way of doing it. I salute you, sir. From one engineer to another.
Ita genius but i think the ATF would count that as a machine gun
Yea

@@josephsekavec skill issue
If only there was a clutch that could engage and disengage the trigger!
That's what I was thinking
Yes, clutch with the brake lever to engage and disengage.
There is.. Your balls being caught in the chain 😂
Maybe a couple of rollers/ tensioners to keep the chain from flopping so much
well, that means there is technically a "trigger" and therefore, against the law without the right liscensing!
replace the gear on the gun with a one way sprocket (like the one on the back wheel) and make it fire only when PEDALING BACKWARDS. So that you can ride normally but when you want to unleash hell, just pedal backwards
Thats a good idea 😂😂
That is fucking brilliant. I like it.
Wouldn't it be hard to pedal backwards against the force of the gun chain? It seems like the 2nd chain is making it much harder to pedal. You probably can't paddle all that force without momentum and the primary muscles used when going forward.
@@indefinite1363nah its a skill issue
This is the way.
Just when you think you have seen every kind of red neck science, Demo ranch drops the mic.
Matt doesn’t like that term lol 😂

He said hold my White Claw.
Perhaps this can be turned into some sort of stationary thing that can be used to defend an area. Set up the Murdercycle on some kind of stationary exercise bike stand thing and have an assistant rotate it left and right.
We're just creating gun emplacements that require exercise at this point.
You mean like a mini gun?

You really have to love the way this dude makes his introductions by far the best
You should put a derailer with a gear changer. Where 1st gear spins a neutral gear and 2nd gear spins the gatling gun gear.
The 'Fully semi-automatic' bicycle. Way to go Matt, now I'm going to need a tax stamp to ride a bike...
That intro was surprisingly entertaining. I wanted the rest of the video to be Michael and Matt becoming best friends.
The next intro should be Matt giving him the bike so he doesn't have to work so hard chasing people.
@@readtherealanthonyfaucibyr6444😂
Yup
It should have a reverse sprocket on the front allowing you to ride to normally and shoot if you crank the pedals backwards also minimize resistance letting it shoot faster.
Definitely a nut grinder. Brings a whole new meaning to getting your junk stuck in a zippr(chain)
The pedestrian version of the A-10 Warthog is pretty good.

A-10speed
The Brrtcycle
If you took a rear wheel sprocket with the internal ratchet and put that backwards on the Gatling gun, you could make it so you pedal forward to ride the bike and pedal backward to fire the gun
That's a helluvan idea
GTA 4 tank flying irl😂
Matt's sense of humor is perfect!! 😂😂😂
I'd suggest adding a clutch to the mechanism so you can shoot after getting up to speed instead of wasting all your ammo by the time you get going.
It'd be better balanced too once up to speed. Also, with the way it is, you cant just pedal the bike and not fire. Its either both or neither.
I’m wondering what the legality is since technically you’d be pulling/releasing the clutch in order to fire.
And run the cable to the back brake control it’s not really useful anyway
@@CJ-we6fvI mean technically it’s still at gat crank that is required to fire it you could argue it’s a safety or bypass the argument all together and hook it up to a bike with a electric conversion rear wheel so you only need to pedal when you want to shoot
Either way I would just argue it’s a safety device to keep the crank from turning and install one
Yes, using bike parts you could have one gear that just spins freely and then change gears to switch to gatling.
i feel like this is one of the more unsafe things youve done
i love it
Those intros! 🤣🤣🤣 Yet another awesome project/video! Thanks again Matt and crew!

@@hopeless2474 "im just riding my bike"
To be fair, gatling guns are already legal because they're hand cranked rather than engine powered. Changing it to foot cranked shouldn't make any difference.

Also me: Good video.

Best lunch breaks are when Demo posts a video 👏
The ATF agent specifically assigned to Matt is frantically searching the law books right now to see if this is illegal
The way the atf is set up, they can basically just decide that it is illegal.
ATF agent: *closes law book* "Arbitrarily redefining a rule it is!"
@@jaredouradalast I heard they're actually not allowed to do that any more
@@EzekiesAcheron will that actually stop them though?
Always knew the A10 had a Hamster wheel in the Gun Mechanism. Makes so much sense
Using a twist grip for elevation would be great, and a way to disengage firing on the fly is a must. A derailleur to adjust firing speed would be nice, though a bit more difficult..
This may be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen
Should have been a double pedal bike. The person in the rear could have pedal for the momentum, person in front for the gun/aiming.
Hilarious intro !
Brilliant murdercycle idea.
Improvement path :
You have to be able to disengage and reengage the gatling gun whenever you want. Clutch.
That would be clutch bro!👍🏻
But putting a clutch on it would almost defeat the principle of the murdercycle, safety was never an option
That is a possible gray area
What you really need to optimize that thing, is a lever or something near the brakes that can control when the chain is on the sprocket. Then you have a lot more control, a safety, and you can gain speed and accuracy before shooting
Definitely one of my favorite intros yet 😂

These skits at the beginning are getting better and better, had me in stitches today 😂😂😂😂
One of these would have come in handy during the St Denis bank hiest of 1889
I'd run a front wheel sprocket and use a cable actuated friction clutch mounted on the hand crank. Hook the cable to a brake lever for a trigger. That way you get unimpeded steering and can ride without firing.
You could totally put a clutch of sorts on the mini gun gear and replace the left break to engage it. But that's coming in mk2 right?
yes, exactly what I was thinking!
Might I suggest an engineering alteration for this. Instead of mounted on the front like you have, perhaps build a sidecar of sorts and mount it to the side of the bike, kinda like the GI-Joe motorcycle from the early 80's. Build a small frame with a wheel on it that attaches to the side and connect it to the back tire via a geared solenoid that you can operate from a push button from the handlebars so that it does not fire continuously. That will also serve to make it much safer as well.
B a decent concept but pretty sure you'd technically turn the gatling gun into a machine doing so. Just needs a clutch so he can engage when wanting to
One small issue with this design is the fact that you would end up shooting your own tires out.
Tricycle? Altho, swap the gatling gun on the bike for a vickers, have secondary brake levers wired up to fire
Tandem bike obviously, that way he take the homie on the raid
@@Fofiddly tricycle is definitely the way to go, more stability for the full auto 50cal upgrade
This one is UP there I love it hahahaha
U are living my dream life 😊fan since 2017
Murdercycle 2.0 needs a more suitable pedaling gear, all barrels firing, and some sort of on off clutch so that you can ride without firing constantly and trigger only when you want to. Have the clutch set up so it's normally disengaged for safety.
Matt, this is legally so freaking borderline, that even if it's technically legal I can't imagine you not getting hell from the ATF. I'm genuinely wishing you all the luck in the world with that. Great stuff!
He’s not actually selling it lol
@@nick.100 I'm aware, the issue is building it at all. lol
Whats wrong with this?
@@ZaneBerry1992he _should_ be fine. They tend to get touchy when you mess around with the fire control and start adding things that could be construde as speeding up the rate of fire.
In a court room, he should be fine. But all it takes is an ATF agent having a bad day, to arrest and have him charged for constructing an unregistered machine gun. Even if the agent is mistaken, he'd have to fight it in court. And as shown by CRS, that doesn't always go well.
@@ZaneBerry1992 it hurts the ATF's feelings

It needs a T&E, but also a firing pin interrupt that holds the firing pin back until you squeeze one of the break handles.
