She then told me that the Infiniti branch was getting just many complaints as the Nissan branch. Its the same CVT, maybe a little more refined/updated, but nevertheless, same crappy transmission. Check out google, or look around on UA-cam, Infiniti customers who have CVTs are complaining too. The transmissions seem to work fine for the first 50-60k miles, but after that the problems tend to start. I was a loyal Nissan fan until now (Xterra, 3.5 Manual Altima, Maxima).
@@tezh5897 It's not the same transmission.
Cvt?
A CVT is a continuously variable transmission - it's a type of automatic transmission that only has one gear driven by a belt
Very nice review!!!😉
Thank you! 😀
I love the look but hate the power train ,wish they through in a 3 l turbo
The VC-Turbo is pretty good, they may offer a Red Sport, now that would be great!
Where did you find a smooth road in Buffalo? I love my QX70
Lol it’s not easy. Most of the time I end up on rough roads because it’s New York State
Keep it Ricky, don't sell it unless you want to leave Infiniti family. QX55 doesn't even compare.
@@Carmaker1 yep I love it. Found some 20" factory wheels, handles great, not bad fuel economy.... Really suffers without bluetooth music though...
@@rickystein7464 What year and engine? VK50 or VQ37?
Bluetooth Audio should work fine I think on a QX70, unless if it was optional. Maybe a 2017 QX70 3.7 might be better? Those come with it std.
@@Carmaker1 the 3.7. Without navigation you have no bluetooth music..
I like it 😩😍😍😍
😊
This is not a Nautilus competitor..This is a crossover coupe and the competition includes cars like GLC coupe, X4, Q5 Sportback etc...
No V6 or V8?
I know. They need a performance car
Do you know Chris Fix??
Overpriced new but older looking interior design with CVT, you have to be in conflict with your brain to spend such money on this thing.
The infotainment looks like that of a family sedan.
lol
I’m currently a Infiniti Q50 owner and I have to say that’s it!! This brand is failing worse than Nissan with the junk CVT! No thanks!!i owned Nissan brand for 28 years and Infiniti for 10 years.... It’s time to move on with another brand!!
I understand. Nissan had some serious issues over the last few years with the Carlos Ghosen issue. They seem to be moving forward. Consider Genesis, Hyundai and KIA with a much longer warranty 10 years/ 100k miles.
Nice Vehicle, I just don't like shorter roofs. That makes it a deal breaker for me.
Fair enough!
Bravo madame !
😊
Beautiful car Lauren. You get lots of snow up in buffalo Lauren. Lol
2022 and screens still small whats up infinity?
I am really disappointed with Infiniti for not putting the 3.0 v6 the red sport 400 has. Infiniti live the Mazda approach for Nissan to deal with and start to behave like a true luxury brand that can truly take on BMW and BENZ.
Maybe they will offer a Red Sport, now that would be a hot SUV.
Beautiful car, but I wish Infiniti would update their infotainment system and do away with the dated dual screens 😖
Agreed
That color 🤤
