I just now decided to start mastering SIMD instructions (on M7). And I saw your video tutorial! Incredibly well made! It is a pity that there are so few views and support like you on UA-cam, since there is no commercial profit from such a course. Most people want entertainment and music on UA-cam, but not courses like this. But for me - how good it is that there are such channels. Good luck to you and all the best!
@@alihancoban SIMD department of programmers has already separated from the department of CMSIS, but it seems that their source codes are being published together in the CMSIS package.
@@alihancoban Find this videos on UA-cam: "Cortex-M4 FPU and DSP instruction usage in the STM32F4 family", "14 DSP Acceleration 3 (FFT)", "How to add CMSIS DSP Libraries in STM32 Project using STM32L476vg" etc.
Interesting. I subscribed to your channel from your last video a few weeks ago. Tonight I was researching SIMD instructions (for the first time) for a tiny code optimization project and this video came out several hours later. Very weird. Thanks. I understood it, probably because it was pretty basic for such an advanced topic. Keep up the good work.
Hi +mrlithium69, I'm glad that you find this video helpful. I was planning to shoot this video for a month :) If you have any feedback on this or tips for future videos. Let me know.
I just started development of ARM Cortex M microcontrollers in a schoolproject, specifically the STM32F7 series because of the real-time possibilities. I find it difficult because almost every video/tutorial/''getting started''-doc requires in dept knowledge of the ARM processor architecture and ST microcontrollers and related software and tools. However this video helped me a lot, thankyou! Do you have a link to your source code? :)

Really great introduction, thank you!

Thanks for the video
Is it possible to execute a multiply instruction and a SIMD instruction simultaneously on an ARM Cortex M4 processor?
This is really helpful. Which tool chain did you use for this video? KEIL, IAR, RVDS, Atollic?
