Great video! Do you recommend going in and just adding every state since we don't know where a sale will come from? or just add my own state (which is texas and I also have sales ID)

Same for me here in The Netherlands.
With this option on, do I need to start charging for each sale now? or do I wait to charge my buyers after I reach the threshold for that state. Waiting it out till I get a notification, means that I did not charge the customer before when they made the purchase and I did not save up money for when its time to pay the tax for that state. Can you share your feedback on my dilemma? Does the fee start from $0 on the next year or does this rollover? If I am at $99,000.OO on December 31st, will this start all over again? Thank you.

So....how do we set up taxes. It automatically collects them then? Still confused why is this so hard. How do we set up to collect taxes
The United States has over 50 states. Do I need to apply for a sales tax ID in each state?
It depends on each state. Thats why Shopify has created these features because they will alert you when you need to start collecting taxes.
All great but how in the hell do you remit the taxes? I got the report for how much I owe but do I need to pay sales tax everyday?
Well that depends on your location and how they handle it. For example we live in Texas and we remit taxes through the Texas Comptrollers website. -C
