This is so interesting! I am an observer/observing, emotional manifestor, and caves environment so I feel like there’s conflict sometimes (and still working through my resentment of being the initiator, and what that means or looks like for me as a feminine being, especially in dating/relationships). I really appreciate the example of my energy exuding when I’m watching/observing something that excites me and attracting that way - it resonates and helps me clarify something for myself that I was needing to understand. It also helps take some pressure off of me always feeling like I’m needing to initiate and gives me a new way to understand it. Great video, very concrete, nuanced and helpful examples! Thank you!

Wow✨ after listening to your example, I totally see myself in my type. I wouldn’t have believed the initial ‘observed or observing’ until you explained the date. I pack a bag for a date and am always ready for the plan to change and detest being pinned down to a plan.
Love your disclaimers on keeping it open and having a play with it....indeed it can't really be stated enough in the HD community. Hadn't heard it being about known/unknown environments before..that's interesting! I guess it follows the logic of left being strategic i.e about what is known and right being more intuitive and open to mystery perhaps.

And yes, I am a generator with left arrow and my hubby is MG with right arrow. He likes to explore new things, while I'm like, doing the same thing over and over lol. I'm good with routines. So, when it comes to dinner date, I always choose the place I've known, until we got bored and he suggest to change the place. Oh well.

That is completely irrelevant where an arrow shows to, nobody is one sided and people don't need to explain themselves to others nor does a chart say anything about you as a person. That is the same with astrology. Nothing of all that defines your personality.
@TheSimplyCa you write like you are unable to get to know a person just like that. So nowadays you exchange your HD chart in order to understand someone? How silly is that? Getting to know yourself and others has something to do with observing yourself and others and communicate with each other. You don't get to know anyone through HD.
Being an observer and a projector waiting for the invite is a hard job 😅

I do enjoy and prefer being somewhere i can feel comfortable and safe. Some place which is familiar, where i will be seen for being me, in a consistent presence.

That is completely naturally and has nothing to do with HD but with human nature.
It's like HD conditioned people into thinking of themselves as idiots and disconnecting them from human nature.
Rewatching this now and it makes so much sense now. I've always been told that I have dual personalities (I'm a Gemini) and I always tried to explain to people that the reason is that I feel extraverted in familiar situations and introverted in unfamiliar situations. But yeah I think what I was missing was that's it's the environment not the situation.
If a stranger showed up at my office and I had to entertain them for a few hours I'd have no problem and I'd even feel energized by it. But if I had to go to someone else's office and entertain them for a few hours I'd probably just be awkward and quiet.
I have a bottom left arrow, pointing left! Wow. This reminds me of a time where I was in middle school. We were given an assignment and as everyone were doing the assignment, I actually sat there and looked around the room to see what everyone was doing. It was the most hilarious thing ever to see what everyone was doing. Some was doing the assignment and some was doing other activities.

Quad left and I love surprises. If asked on a date and I asked what were song and was told is a surprise, I would want to know if I should be prepared with anything like shoes, jacket, sunscreen, etc... Then I think it's totally fun to have no idea where we're going.
I'm for sure feeling best being observed, but no need for the place to be familiar.

interesting .. i am observing but want to know places and know things in advance. not very spontaneous i dont think .. maybe i am but dont notice. I wonder if the non spontaneous undefined spleen conflicts with being an 'observer' type.
I am the observer but at the same time my other arrows are facing left so there is a bit of conflict here :) With dates, I like to know at least the general view so I could prepare mentally, but I also need to plan that I will be a little bit spontaneous which is funny because normally I need to have a plan for the day.
Oh the layers of HD...so much fun! And, with your other arrows, this one is that permission to release a little of the plan 🙂

I just found you channel and I love it. Thank you for sharing. I am feeling a little confused, my environment style is observed (consecutive, active, environment is kitchen/wet/observed) but then on motivation (Innocence) says the trajectory is observer is it just a completely different thing? Is there information on this subject on your channel?

Yes, these are speaking to different variable energies. This video is speaking to the bottom left arrow (environment your energy feels most at home/comfortable in and how you interact with that environment). Motivation speaks to the top right variable which also speaks to your focus/awareness. Part 2 of my original Variables videos touches on the top right variable a little bit. As it's the fourth variable, I haven't covered it in more depth (yet).
How would you apply this information to business /marketing ?
This doesnt apply to me. The arrow points right and i dont like being observed and want to know all about what is around me and what will happen next. I am passive in body but active in mind. I am constantly asking questions and seeking answers and studying. I dont like to be in unfalimiar places with people i dont know. Its ok with a friend i know well. I like to explore with others. If i want to relax i have to be aware of everything around me. I do not sleep in hotels!
Me and my fiancé are both observed with markets-internal and we go out everyday to a restaurant for dinner but my energy wants to stay home. Why is that?
For the MBTI system, you both surely have a deciding function as first cognitive function. So Thinking or Feeling. But your husband is surely an extrovert and you an introvert.
I just want to know how to implement "observer" with a 9-5 job.
Can someone answer me how my personal destiny of rulership 4 but my motivation is innocence (supposedly bad leaders) and my trajectory is observer LOL that makes no sense. My whole body graph is ALL about leadership
