In the real game, movement speed and pre-requrirements are important issues to consider. That's why you rarely see top players go Apoc in combat pvp games...
apo tanks are always gonna win, they pack more firepower per pixel, and thus dont block each other as much as rhinos do. to do this accurate, the tanks should be in almost melee range before given the order to fire, so that half the amount of rhinos arent eaten one by one without firing for half the battle
But how fast are they, how quickly can they be made, how do the factories to make both compare, what tech level do you need for both, how do their ranges compare, how well do they work with other faction units, etc.
Honestly I'm actual MP games the apoc is underrated, sure rhino spam in the early game is the tried and true but later on the apocs can reach critical mass with the industrial plant and just steamroll any other MBT army, they also do decent damage to infantry so fodder isn't as effective whereas your own fodder is still great, as to the move while firing thing, they can move and shoot like rhinos you just gotta use the attack move command there's a sweet spot with repeating attack move orders where they'll just fire on anything in their range without stopping, takes some practice to get the timing right, they are also sovs best answer to mass battlle forts, sure if they only have one or two just chase em down with a pack of rhinos, but when they start getting to like 6 bfs the fact that ggi missiles track and will always hit rhinos yet will miss retreating apocs means you end up in that old forward and back dance and it's a micro war until the allied player fucks up moves too far forwards and your apocs just fucking delete those bfs, apocs with a line of siege chops they can retreat to are great, one downside to apocs using attack move is they are like ggis in that they well target air before ground so Rockies make good if expensive fodder so support em with flak their missiles aren't that great and honestly they apoc would be a better unit without aa missiles and a price reduction to balance it. Late game sovs is underrated it isn't just make 600 rhinos cuz you'd get stomped, also since sovs don't get cheap air units to use as fodder for bfs don't forget about the v3 get a pack of those have them force fire random areas where you are fighting the bfs and the ggis will target the rockets before anything else also the rockets are infinite and free unlike 600 a pop for Rockies, don't fall into the usual sov trap of just spamming rhinos, combined arms makes sovs a real powerhouse late game
Okay, then just build apocs, and see how you got destroyed by terror drones, master minds or anything can mind control, magnetrons, and BFs kite you to death

So 4 bfs is 12 apocs which those bfs don't wanna get in range of they will just vanish it's a micro battle then don't get impatient wait for the allied player to mess up either they get too close or you use your rhinos as bait and pincer with the apocs, apocs are not a stand alone unit and need a lot of other units if it weren't for Yuri's revenge buffing allies so much with the bf I'd say dont use em except for memes but I've honestly found them to be the best answer to a mass bf allied player, obvs the real counter is don't let that guy get like 6 bfs but in a 4v4 with 3 allies protecting them while they tech rush it's not always an option. Tl Dr rhinos always good apocs just do a different job
Apocs would win against Mammoth Tanks quite easily, Apocs deal far more damage to tanks overall than Mammoth Tanks. Rhinos would win against Heavy Tanks also, just like the Apocs, Rhinos deal more damage to tanks than Heavy Tanks from Red Alert 1.
Apocs are good units but they are slower and can't fire on the move. Plus they require battle lab to produce. Guess that's why no competitive player build them.
Yea, apocs rarely win in a micro battle vs battle fortress when facing similar skill players. And you will never make enough apocs to defend before opposing Soviet rushes you. In team games though, you can make apocs or even kirovs solely as mobile shields for your allied players in late game. It’s more effective than spamming choppers
With some minor micro-management, you could concentrate the rhino's attacks on the flanks of the apocalypse battalion and put most of the apoc's out of range while still being able to fire with most of your rhino's. You'd have to repeat this a few times as the apoc's move in range, but it's very doable. Maybe this is worth a test: skilled human rhino's vs AI apocalypses.

Yea I suggested this before. My theory or rather, bet, is that at same cost, Flak Tracks just enough overload MMs and the chain reaction should happen when each MM pops, the freed Flak Tracks are recontrolled and roll over to the next MM.

This comparison is only for a raw attack strength. There are many other factors which decides which tank is better on the battle field, eg. speed.

Rhino tanks can hit while they are moving. Apos can't. Therefore it creates another dimension as well. Accuracy.
