100-year-old home to be converted into new space for artists and community

An old home on the corner of Hopkins and Courtland has stood there for nearly a century. The house was used to raise Symphony Swan Zawadi and her family, but it's the next chapter she tells me that will inspire a generation of future artists.
Symphony Swan Zawadi grew up on the Northside.
"This room here was actually the room I grew up in," Symphony said. "It felt so much bigger when I was a kid, but this will be a home for any artist where they can create."
