Favourite thing of autumn carp fishing: The change in weather - This brings change in tactics, bait, approach, location and more. Makes you up your game to embrace the elements, wind, rain, mud, drops in air & water temperatures in pursuit of the prize. To go with this, some beautiful scenery too.

Favourite time is autumn for me as the banks gets a little quieter and the colours of the carp change and become more vibrant. Epic video
My favourite thing about Autumn fishing is there being less anglers on the bank, less pressure on the fish. If I don't get any action on my spot(s), I'll wind in and go looking for them armed with a couple of rods, net, mat and a bag of bait! It's a brilliant tactic as the banks are quieter.
I also love the fresh air and peace and quiet!

My favourite thing about autumn is the changing of the scenery,with the vibrant colours of the leaves changing to the fish also looking more nice, to the banks being more quieter as the fare weather fishermen don't come out in the wind and rain. And also having them nice little kips after some tea and biscuits listening to the rain on the shelter and waking up to the alarms going off in a one toner,and falling off your chair in a panic lol. What a beautiful time of the year 👍💥

Favourite thing about autumn fishing for me is less anglers, the fish are getting back to good weights and I caught my new pb this autumn a 39lb mirror using my daiwa black widow rods ❤

I would say my favourite things with fishing in the autumn is less anglers on the bank, more tea/coffee drank, lighting a log burner also will start getting the pike/perch gear out if I have some spare time.
My favourite thing about carp fishing in the autumn is the colours. The carp look their best and the fallen leaves on the ground really make the gold spools on my Emblems pop!
There are fewer people on the bank too, for some reason.

Standing in the pelting down rain with all my waterproofs on, eating my sandwiches with the underlying tone of maggot juice on my fingers, and nodding off while listening to the weather batter my bivvy…….heaven

The fact that it really does mine and I’m sure everyone else’s mental health the world of good. Waking up on those autumnal mornings on the bank needing a warm brew and all those positive endorphins racing around your body is the best thing!
