I didn't like Chandler at first but after watching him on TUF I'm a fan for life. He'll make a fine coach (if he wants) when he's done fighting. He's so loyal. From what I know now, seems like a good dude.

@@AminNazari666 i also wasn't a fan of him when he first entered the ufc, simply because i never really watch bellator and didn't know of him and he came off as arrogant. but after seeing him in interviews and how he fights, i respect him a lot and like him now. seems like a really nice, logical down to earth guy

Chandler is actually one of the most well rounded fighters in the division he just makes stupid decisions in the octagon that cost him fights. He had Oliveira hurt bad and was maybe 10-15 seconds away from holding the lightweight strap, he hurt Poirier bad which would have been another title shot, and same with Gaethje. Chandler would do bad things to Paddy Pimblett.

I don’t “know know” him but I grew up in the same area as him and we went to the same high school. Everyone I know that really knew him has said he was an ok guy. Just a motivated dude that didn’t let his small town hold him back like many small town ppl often do. I think his mindset and his drive to be better is great. Truly dedicated. Even if his niceness was an act so what? The ability to conduct yourself professional under all circumstances is the true definition of being a professional. Can’t really hate on a guy for that.
