The kid I used to spin skateboard wheels next to each other and compare which we would stop faster . That's when I will decide which wheel was better. a perfect explanation of what you're doing. thank you....😊
hi mate!! im getting my old abu 6000c fitted with a mono mag and new bearings from PMR!! Talked to one of the lads there jamie! such a nice guy! just got talking about a ct kit i bought off him and and i mentioned my 27yr old 6000c and he offered to overhaul it at a really good price!! sent it away today and should get it back next week!!
hi mate just to let you know ive been out with the 6000 and the mono mag is excellent! had a dozen or so casts and never fluffed once! at the end was down to the backing nearly every cast! will chat to you soon mate!! Russell
it cant be a proper test because the st mag unit doesnt work until you actually cast and the coller springs out and causes the brakeing effect , where by the monomag works intantly when close to the spool and less a you wind off , so jason g is right , not a proper test
I have a ST and I must say I am very disappointed with it - the main thing being that the spool disengage knob often sticks and sometimes need a real whack to push it in. It has also developed a clicking noise when I wind it. Apart from casting practice its had very little real fishing time. Its only 18 months old! Hmmmm!
The daiwa st can be completely turned off, pimpmyreel, you are speaking about a system that you don.t really understand the function.- Both systems are very good to fish or casting tournament, but you can.t compare in a table, because the magnofuge functions different.- For example, we can cast with a daiwa mag starting with 50 seconds mag on, and without problems, with a monomag you couldn.t. Try that on the field, and then write here...
I 'd would like to add at my 7 HT SUPER TUNED the ''pinion support sleeve'', can you tell me where I can buy ? because I live in TORONTO CANADA and is not abailable here, thanks for the video and I'll wait your answer, Martin
There are different systems, like the brake blocks and the mags, you couldn.t compare in the table, yes on the field. The monomag, and the magnofuge, and the brake blocks (centrifugal systems) are the best systems...on the field.. i.m not talking about the cost, that.s other discusion.....
Lmao are people tryin to tell pimpmyreel about reels? as far as I can see pmr do the best conversions and parts for multipliers and I would think for that reason are more clued up than anyone who would be daft enough to argue with him/them. I ain't saying you know nothing but just not as much as pmr lol.

the daiwa mags dont work until you actually cast them then they kick in automatically , thats why on the bench the st runs for longer
Of course they work you luney

Well - you don't get more scientific than that!
