I'm surprised to see a competitive deck where 39 out of the 40 cards in the decklist aren't UR's well done mate.
Nice deck, just in case here are some additions you may consider for a future video:
1 - kaiser colosseum, as normally you only have ane monster on the field it will help help to keep a limit on the amount of monsters you opponent can have on the field.
2- Fists of the Unrivaled Tenyi, it will help you to protect your normal monsters from trap/magic cards, and if the trap is destroyed when it was set you can summon a blue eyes ultimate dragon from your extra deck which is also a normal monster.
3- Lord of the Heavenly Prison, you can only use its effect from the hand to protect the set magic/trap cards but do not summon it and keep uding its effect.
4- Dimension guardian, it may help to keep your monster save from almost anything.
I'm confused y wasn't phantasm spiral dragon on the decklist if he used it in every duel??

Nice, I just made this deck because it’s cheap and I basically already had all the cards, I was looking for different builds, also I love the chapter titles on the video, very creative
as long as you can banish cards from graveyard, you win the game, win the META !!! and congrat you made it to D1.👍👍👍
This Deck is so solid, just add 3x macro cosmos instead of dimension fissure and it works so well. Thanks 4 sharing this one! :)

feels like its an anti-everything, pretty solid consistency
I would add 2 or 3 jar of Avarice to get your pop cards and your negate csrds back into your deck. Trust me it really helps out especially with the long matches

i have that problem when i'm already out of normal monsters or don't have more PS.Battle/Power left in my deck, that card might save us in that situation

5- Fury of Kairyu-Shin, it searches for torrential tribute from de deck, then it can protect water monsters from being destroyed by torrential tribute.
So witch version of this deck is better the last video or this video

If only Pot of Prosperity wasn't limited, then you could remove Pot of Extravagance and add Heat Wave to the deck. Heat Wave has the same restriction as Pot of Extravagance, must be played at the start of main phase 1, and it makes it so both players can't normal or special summon monsters until the start of your next draw phase
Y isnt phantasm spiral dragon on the decklist??how many do we put in?

personally i don't bring phantasm spiral dragon since i didn't bring the phantasm spiral equip spells, the equip spell just too slow in my opinion..
but if you want to bring it, you can replace some fish sonar with it, and add some equip spell that you prefer ~

Great strong deck! Question: why can’t I activate and banish the phantasm’s spiral traps when they’re in my graveyard?
For phantasm spiral power, you need the equip spell in your hand or graveyard to activate power from your graveyard
For phantasm spiral battle, you need the equip spells to be on the field already to active this trap effect from the grave
The equip spells are very bricky, and hard to use right, and you’re forced to run more phantasm spiral dragons (more potential bricks)
This deck is very cheap but strong
7:20 Any particular reason for not activating Skill Drain in response to Rulkalos?

I dont get why these replays... just play floodgate with macro cosmo/ shifter and fissure and the game is over 😅
because that's 'the only' best way to stop tears sadly.. even exosister, floow, traptrix, labrynth do the same way to stop them (with d.fissure/shifter/macro/soul drain)
I also don't really like playing floodgates actually,
however, it is needed to make a rogue deck like this can also compete with meta (for a simplified game state)
It's funny seeing a tier 0 deck of modern yugioh getting btfo by a deck that plays more like boomer yugioh: vanilla monsters, no combos, relying more in traps to destroy opponent's cards.

iya, biasanya kalau pasang fissure langsung dichain maxx c 😅 tapi kena maxx c pun kita cuma special summon 1x aja
No heat wave is a major missed opportunity given your deck build. And I don’t really see a play here that makes phantasm spiral effective against tear or any of the modern meta, ur main play (all but one game in this video) is soul drain or dimensional fissure, which is being used in every deck that can use it rn, and doesn’t show the actual strengths of this umi deck
I play this deck a lot and feel like you’re missing a lot of opportunities to set up better boards. If you’re not playing with heat wave, you really need to be using electric jellyfish. If ur worried about not being able to use phantasm spiral traps don’t forget you can banish jellyfish with sea stealth (which you need 3 of given it’s special interactions with the umi field spell). Note that you’re only blocked using umis effects on turn you special summon a monster, and bringing back jelly from the banish zone with sea wealth does not count as a summon; meaning on ur opponents turn you can use jellyfish’s negate, umis effects, and phantasm spiral traps all in the same turn. It can also gives you another free special summon of phantasm spiral dragon if you draw the brick on turn 1, and let’s you send an umi to the grave making sea stealth way more consistent.
I hope you try this stuff out to improve your decks consistency by a lot, and I’ve always been a huge fan of this deck and also want it to crush the meta game… unfortunately its not a meta buster against tear and simply requires the staple graveyard hate cards that makes every deck win against tear

I'm aware that there are mixed versions with umi control cards out there, but I've never actually tried them 🤔
looks like the version is more powerful then the one in this video (i will try it in the future)
I also saw a version with a mask change that banishes absolute zero every turn (a Raigeki-like effect) with SSA, and it's pretty crazy
I also like heat waves, it's just that they only apply in 1 enemy turn, so I prefer cards like d.fissure/soul drain which are continuous. Each has its own advantages, such as heat wave is still useful against exosister and floowandereeze, while d.fissure/soul drain is not, so that is just personal preference, both are good cards 😄
@@hicooo soul drain is a great play for this format, gotta give credit when it’s due. And you’re right about personal preferences, for a simple archetype it has so many slight variations, making it pretty damn flexible and fun as a rogue option between different formats
All the cards I draw are brick when using this deck...
There is many round my opponent just attack me without activate any effect and won the game when I have Phantasm city on the field without any other cards. This deck is completely brick

@@LaiKy1990 almost every deck has a chance to brick,
cards that have great potential to cause bricks such as ps.battle (without monsters being useless), SSA (without field spells), floodgate when fighting decks that don't depend on GY
thus, you can change the ratio of the cards, and replace them with cards that are more useful in all situations (such as dogmatika punishment, storming mirror force, needle ceiling, wall of disruption, etc.). You can also try the to add some umi control cards, which i do think would be better (i haven't tried it yet).
@@hicooo Most of time, I can only set my trap/spell without any protection, and my opponent will always got feather duster or lightning storm

This just seems like a worst floodgate/back-row deck, why not try labrynth? Also what wins the game in the tear matchup is dimensional fissure not much else
labrynth is, of course, stronger than this deck,
I just want to try fighting Tear using this water-based deck (i love water xd), besides that, this deck is very cheap so everyone can make it (there is also a 1 UR version that has reached diamond 1)
if you say that only d.fissure/floodgates won the game, that's not entirely true,
because this deck can carry 7-8 draw-power cards which are not easy for other decks to do, and can get benefits every turn just with the fieldspell
This deck is also not affected by maxxc, veiler, imperm, cbtg, nibiru, etc. which renders the card useless in enemy hands
@@hicooo well that is all true, i mean if you consider that this is a very low cost deck that can put up a fight against some of the best decks then it’s really good don’t get me wrong. Personally I like umi control as a water based control deck (you can use the same field spell) but that’s more expensive
Tornado wall is great for people who figure out that if they just summon and beat face this deck losses a lot of power. Also planet pathfinder is a great option over metaverse if you don't want to spend the UR.
