Imagine this when they tune it even further after market LOL. The current drive train can handle it too. I am pretty sure these could be gotten down to 3 seconds flat for the 0-100 with a stage 2+ or at least 3.2 seconds. Still, sounds so wonderful. My mum has a much lower tune version of this 5 cylinder in her 2nd gen RSQ3 (335 HP) but I think 7 years ago they were a bit more liberal with exhaust as hers bangs and pops like crazy on every change and always has, even in comfort mode. Of course it's a much different car as it's an SUV and it has no trick diff in rear but in a straight line and for long drives it's still a heck of a car and sounds gorgeous 100% of the time. RS3 tuned to stage 2+ is my dream car but I know I can never have one cause I have major lower back problems and can't get in and out of a low car, and these issues are exacerbated by my towering 6ft4. Oh well. The current RSQ3 with similar engine tune as the current RS3, are unfortunately having many known issues with gimping off the line with launch control, like the car stops itself from going, and they are too expensive to have that issue. They should do 4.4 seconds and people are consistently getting high 5's. No such issue with RS3. I know for a fact mum's car does 4.7 seconds with way less power as I have dragged it, and it's never been gimped off the line, so I have been trying to convince her to let me stage 2 it as that thing will be an animal, but she's not interested 🤣

I don't like pops & bangs, although I like a nice 'burble'.
35mpg isn't great though, I get 40+ out of my 455bhp tuned M140i.
This would leave my car in the dust from a standing start though, as all AWD cars do, but if it's got the 'fun' factor then I'm in !

I do like the Audi Rs3 but unfortunately here in my city of Glasgow owners of Audi RS3’s are usually the ar$es who drive up residential areas at full pelt, park in either disabled or EV charging spaces and of a shady character profile so it’s put me off owning one.
Shame cause I definitely get the saloon version if had the money and judging by the options you need it 🙊
They’re too expensive in Ireland so they’re kept out of the wrong hands (generally!)

3.8 0-62mph(100kph) Audi claimed. A lot faster in the real world testing, mid to low 3 second range as multiple youtube videos have shown.

Audi - the greyest car you will ever have at the cost; dependable, fast, sturdy, engineering excellence, were it an Alfa it would be the best in the world. Great review though.

We'll go out and protest against 100e water charges but we accept being shafted for thousands and thousands in VRT 🤷♂️
@@shiugen676 I think the point there is water charges affected a lot of people, expensive VRT rates are a 1st world problem of middle class people.

@@NobbyOnCars yeah I have m240i coming in March with loads of extras at 15k less than this spec rs3 you are driving. It has a bigger boot also although not as much room in the back but enough for 2 little people, anyway I'll be sitting in the driver seat!
Always thought the M240i was a direct rival to the cheaper S3. RS3 would be more comparitable to the full blown M2 on performance and price I'd imagine.
@@MrBazz26 similar sort of thing to drive although I’ve only spent a short time with an M2.
It definitely doesn't have 480 horses. Good video 👍🏻 I've got one, love it. I fitted an asr valve controller to have the valves fully open below 4k. Makes a big difference, sounds much better.

Extremely reliable model! 5 cylinder and dct are a proven package! Not all German cars are unreliable do some research!😄
A warranty avoids the issues you were having with older used German cars!
