- UAB police Sgt. Parnell Guyton was released Tuesday, June 30, 2020 after being hospitalized since March 31 with COVID-19. Guyton, 47, has spent the last month at Spain Rehabilitation after a 59-day stay in the COVID-19 ICU unit at UAB Hospital. He was on a ventilator for 45 days. Provided by University Relations at UAB.

Very glad to see Sgt Guyton going home. He's one of the most kind and caring police officers at UAB. Not surprised he appears to be a great father too.

The fact that any news organization would trot this out as a positive story shows how dire our situation is. The hospitals are so overworked with COVID cases that they didn't even treat this man for his life threatening liver issues that have resulted in such deep yellowing of his eyes. They release him after ONLY clearing him of his respiratory issues, entirely glosssing over his Jaundice & obvious liver complications. This is quite alarming. I hope he gets re-admitted before he actually has liver or kidney failure

And it is sometimes not curable! My Pastor is gone Home now, and I am out of state. But his son took over and had Covid-19 recently! He came home and started preaching again on UA-cam. He preached a few messages and is gone on now TOO. Whatever he said last has to be VERY important! I heard him say the virus gave him a fever that ONLY prayer took away! He said sin is like a fever in the spirit!

No, it shouldn’t have been. How do you even know he’s a Christian? Stop forcing your religion on people.
