99% correct. You just misinformed some incidents.
1. British used kuki to defend raid from naga ( tangkhul, kabui, mao etc.) not to defend meitei. All the indigenous manipuri tribes are subject of meitei king. So no one dared to provoke meitei and king.
2. Eviction process was started in valley and later in hills with announcement. Eviction is must to protect forest under reserve forest acts bcoz kuki narco terrorist brings more illegal immigrants and started poppy cultivation in large scale.
3. There is nothing called Anglo kuki war. Ministry of Home affairs already disclosed the matter.

Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the Centre would fence the India-Myanmar border to facilitate better surveillance and pave a patrol.
While the Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Manipur have welcomed the decision, their Mizoram and Nagaland counterparts are against putting up a barbed wire fence along the 1,643 km border between the two countries.
Myanmmar has already taken parts of imphal.

My good name is Durgesh and my sympathy is with the Meiteis of Manipur guarding our country from unwanted influx and foreign influence. The difference between the Meitei Chief Minister of Manipur and the Kuki Chief Minister of Mizoram is quite contrasting. CM Biren Singh of Manipur was a BSF Jawan and was asking New Delhi to assist his Government in fencing of Indo-Myanmar border during his first term. While the CM of Mizoram, Mr. Zoramthanga was a former militant and his Government asked New Delhi to keep the Indo-Myanmar border unfenced.

The british book published in 1887 by C.A.SOPPITT entitled "A short account of the Kuki-Lushsai tribes" says that the Kukis were driven out from Lushai hills (Mizoram) in the early part of 19th century, and settled in cachar and Manipur. This book can be downloaded free from the internet. Hope this scarce historical material give you a better understanding

Naga is a new term in Manipur. Many tribes like tangkhul, mao, kabui, inpui stays under the umbrella name naga recently. And they never raid in meitei. They raid against British only. So you misinformed here. Next, naga and meitei are blood brothers. British used kuki from Burma to protect raids from naga, not to defend meitei.

Meiteis biggest dillusion is thinking that the present state of Manipur belongs to them ( as per history records Meitei Kingdom confined to 700sq miles).
What needs to be highlighted is the present crisis & involvement of Terrorist groups as declared by Ministry of Home Affairs (Includes: UNLF, KYKL, PREPAK, PLA, MPLF all operating from Myanmar sponsored by China) and their motives still remains the same to fight for their Independence from India.
