I worked at a record store in 75 when this album came out. We played it constantly in the store. It is still one of my top ten favorite rock albums!

My dad worked for A&M records during the 70s. This was one of his acts. Company did get behind them but the radios stations and record buying public did not. Times were changing and punk/new wave distracted the plugger and public alike. They did have following, and I was one. The hot summer of 76 I was 12 and listening to this admiring the funk. still do. “We cant go on.... is my fav LP

@@gaycha6589 Got me to trade my son of a bitch rare Les Paul recording bass for a new fretless! I play "I don't know why" note for note and sing it as done. I even have the song in my cell phone alarm. I got my Fender fretless and $150 in trade for it. I would have kept the bass if I wasn't a starving musician at the time. Now that Les Paul is worth thousands. NO PROBLEM....damn it' Still love the fretless more!

I was wondering if I could bring your copy of this song "UP TO PITCH" and send it to you to corrected? It is a bit flat as to correct pitch. So if one was to have their guitar OR voice to play/sing to, they will be in pitch. My point is selfish. I am working on RE-RELEASING this song with my studio musicians featuring a guitarist playing along as I sing and play my Fretless in real time. This song is so heartfelt and moving, How about it? Of course I can do that without you! But you reminded me of my days when I was coming up and how this song and Hummingbird turned me around....MUSICALLY ... regardless..God bless and pass the amunition! ( hey you have over ten thousand views and 12 comments...pretty much there is a want for this song)🔉🔊🎵
