So, this mod got updated. It now has nuclear aerospikes designed for atmospheric operations and an engine which dumps superheated nuclear fuel through two tiny nozzles for roll control. It just gets crazier over time.
Honestly, The modding community in KSP is slowing down. But there's a lot of mods that are compatible with the latest version that are worth looking into... Like TAC, KSP Interstellar extended, Planet shine, Astronomer's Visual Pack
The mod maker shoud allow some of the larger NTRs to generate power even while in idle mode (not just through the alternator). It's criminal needing all that electrical power, while sitting on a litteral nuclear reactor, and not being able to have the two work together.
Anyone know if there's a video out there explaining how to do variables and functions on the ui menu when making a mod? Just had a great idea to make a fusion reactor that uses hydrogen or water that's converted to oxygen and hydrogen fuel, that'd be an awesome thing to have in the game.
That's.. That's not how any of that works. If you don't know programming well enough to input variables or simple functions, you are a ways off from modding KSP. Also, fusion reactors wouldn't make sense on a spacecraft, as they are heavy and require power to begin. Unless you had a large supply of hydrogen/deuterium and started it before takeoff, in which case, you'd be wasting materials. As for converting water into oxygen and hydrogen fuel, that's not how hydrogen fuel works, and that's definitely not how oxidizer works. Besides, conversion of water into its base materials takes energy, as does pressurization of the hydrogen.
what? no you would just get energy that would be wasted, where do you see perpetual motion? remember the fusion reactor needs Hydrogen or Deuterium and tritium, it does not produces infinite amount of energy haha
could you please post a video on installing the mods MKS Lite, USI life Support and OSE Work Shop. I've been getting very frustrated as I cant seem to successfully install them. It would ben an unbelievable help if you could show us how to install them.
First you open the zip file then if it says game data then open it then drag the contents from it to game data folder. If it only says the mod name open it then if it says parts or flags or random dll's and cfg's, drag the folder with the mod name to game data then run ksp. If it doesn't work, use CKAN.
I've been watching these mods things for a long time for some reason, now I plan on getting KSP this weekend on Steam.
You.........Preston.......
UZI356 Settlement... help.......
Preston Garvey Hint: Don't install BDarmory. Broke me bloody KSP.

Damn i love this channel!
I can't stop watching these KSP videos :D
Keep it up man!
glad you enjoy

This mod also comes with an extra that will make all the engines use liquidfuel instead of liquidhydrogen, for less realism but more convenience
Perfect! I finally found a mod for powerful but efficient nuclear engines!
I needed this mod for Waterfall, and I now love it!
7:55 THE FREEDOM ATOMIC ROCKET!

2 of them actually do I just didn't realize it till it was pointed out to me later.

Ah, excellent.
Great video!
I'd love to meet Nertea someday. He's so fucking good at what he does.
2:20 You said 'prodroces 2 Electric Charge per sec', but it says 'consumes 2 Electric Charge per sec'.
Could you take a look at "Vens Stock Revamp" ? :)
Great video! Are these NTRs compatible with RSS/RO/RP-1?
You are robot at start!
You didn't appear to notice that a couple of the engines have *both* an alternator and a generator - meaning they give power even when not running.
Ya I completely missed that, for some reason it just didn't click in my head
umm for me the engines are literally so powerfull that you get launched 100 times the speed of light
anything with nuclear ill watch lol
showcase any mod that has nukes or dirty bombs or a m65 suisidle
For some reason my engines arent using h2. They use LF

this guy is worse than Justin Bieber
could recuperate heat from the engine to separate H2O molecules in fact
Bender Then you would have negative perpetual motion...

The Karbals have beat general atomics to it (if you went for the brother hood in fall out 4 you will know what I mean)
Karbals? *Kerbals

I am on a Mac and mods are like stock eve ssto's
What's ISP do again?
It's a measure for the efficiency.
What Sander said. Basically the higher the number, the more efficient your engine is.
it is a measure of exhaust speed, and faster exhaust means more push from the same mass, thus more efficient.
It's interstellar Fuel Switch
how the heck did i come here from a Donald Trump Roast xD
Perhaps the internet gods smiled upon you and were like "let's give this dude some awesome nerdy space stuff"?
I wish this was in the game itself, probably useless because not that many liquid fuel tanks
I aggery
Under 100 club!
Fallout anyone?????
