The look of pride on that precious baby's face when you praised him brought a tear to my eye. What an awesome dad you are. Not surprising you have such a great bunch of children.
Me too, so lovely to see the joy on a child's face coz daddy said that he had been a help, and in the background I could hear my neighbour doing the opposite.
I’m a 74 yr Senior Citizens lady. I enjoy your videos. I had a mixed dairy goat herd of Alpine Nubian Toggenberg years ago. Goat milk is the BEST milk as it’s pre homogenized easy to digest for All ages. This happens only if you feed quality feed. Dairy grain ration, quality hay & pasture plus SUNSHINE are for the best results. Glad to see these goats in your lives for rebuilding your health. ❤️🙏
It is just wonderful to see how you treat your children, Art. Even before you praised Wilder, I was thinking how beautiful it is that your children listen to you and are eager to learn. I'm also glad that you enjoy your farm so very much. Diane in NC
Oh ! That milk make my heart sing. I still drink goat milk but being 80 year old and not mobile anymore, so it is shop organic milk.l am so happy you decide for those goats , lovely memories for me .you all loom so happy again! SHALOM
It's so nice to see you and Bri smile so much. The kids look like they are having fun. Stay safe and Thank you Art for being a nurse at this crazy time.💜
It is so much fun to watch you all, and the pure, simple pleasure your family gets out of your homestead - the spiders, snakes, pasture poop and the beautiful star at the end. Blessings to your home. Thank you so much.
Its magical at night there seeing the stars without light pollution. The first clear starry night at our blueberry farm made me cry. It was so clear and beautiful I felt like I could reach out and touch the twinkling stars. Think of me when you gratefully cry at so much beauty around you. YOU ARE BLESSED!😊❤🙏
Venus has been absolutely brilliant these last few weeks. I think it's starting to hide the sunlit side now, but it's still very bright and beautiful. I go out every clear evening to see it.
Now that was a move...all the kids helping, it is such a joy to watch as your family and homestead grows. It is going to be a very productive summer. Y'all stay well and have a Blessed day.
Here in California I tried some fresh Andalusian goat milk and it was creamier and sweeter than cow's milk. The farmer said her secret was to feed her goats fresh wheat grass a half hour before milking. She said it took away the last bit of 'goatieness' from the flavor. They also had some incredible cheeses ranging from a 'Swiss' style to a lovely aged parmesan. I could not tell the difference in a taste test. Some of those eggshells are good for the compost, too, as well as dried banana peels - for calcium and potassium.
You remind me so much of my husband and I, we have a small olive and fig farm in Spain and we get up every morning and say what will we play with today? Sadly we were not able to achieve this when our kids were little but our grandchildren love to visit. We think it has something to do with having a purpose. When you have a purpose, life is good. 🤗
Again, you have a beautiful farmstead always a treat to watch. Gorgeous. So wonderful to see the joy you all have right now it really helps because we do still need to live and feel joy and focus on life. Thank you for reinforcing that in this video. Beautiful.
Such a cool idea saying thankfulls in the beginning of this video! Made our hearts happy! Least favorite chore here...moving animals. Lots of grumbling happens when we move the sheep!
you guys are a breath of fresh air in a world of uncertainty, May G-d continue to grant you the peace and happiness and the appreciation for all you have and do. thanks
A garbage can with some holes on the sides and bottom, buried to within a few inches, with ‘some’ shredded paper or dry leaves would be a way to process food scraps with worms without pigs or chickens.
👍👍. Definitely a little piece of heaven at the very end with the wind blowing clouds moving and the lushness of the green pastures. Got to say Wilder is every fathers dream son.....so eager to learn and to please. That smile after you praise him melts the heart. All your kids know how to play hard and eager to help when needed. It all adds to your piece of heaven for sure. Love how you work to outsmart the cows and you won!!!! This is the season to plant for the future and repair the pastures and it all makes for awesome days of thankfulness. When it’s time to work on your home you will know when it’s right. And all that you’re saving growing and raising your own will help in its cost. Good planning though some think otherwise. I’m all for your way of thinking and plan to continue watching your journey making your home the perfect place......called heaven. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Put a tree stump permanently in the middle of your chicken enclosure with an axe on it. Chickens ARE pigs, IF they can get at the food. SO, for them to eat ANY scraps from your kitchen, bring the scraps to the enclosure and chop them (with sharp) or crush (with the dull) end of the axe, and you'll see them eating everything, even bone bits!
Your children are so precious!, your little one is quite a character! I love you guys! They can here the electric fence clicking, well horses anyhow! 🥰
Love seeing the little ones getting in and helping their daddy and even more so, like that daddy praises them for their efforts. Good for you Bri having success with the goat milk and the joy in your face that comes when you speak about being able to become self sufficient with home grown veggies, eggs, meat and your goat milk is awesome. Well done to the both of you. Stay safe xxxxx
Oh man, I miss those mountains and my Grandma's farm. Your wonderful videos bring it all back to me and make me ache for those times. I love what you and Bri are doing. I'll just have to keep on living in the piedmont and watching your videos!
You are both so amazing and the children are precious. I am so happy to see you both looking more relaxed and happy without fretful looks at the edge of your days. Bri you look so happy with the goats and I see a new resilience in you and actually all about your body language. That's all great! Art, you looked less stress and I think both of you needed to see the awakening of spring and have busy things to keep you hopping and getting to what you have started to do. Winter has not been easy for you this year and all this too will come to pass and things will be on the uptake! Spring is a rebirth of everything on the homestead and our hearts and minds along with body needs this transition into activity and "normalacy".... if you will. It is so awesome to hear you tell about being self sustaining, I think that is fabulous and I wish that more could know that satisfaction. It's truly a calming and fulfilling thing to experience. It removes stress, fear and so much more. Be blessed, enjoy your spring, your gardens, and being where you wish to be and moving forward with positive vibes going on! You're well on the way to being closer to the BIG PROJECT ahead........it is coming I know.......this world is in a tumble now and I am so glad you live in the country and have a type of natural protection just by the way you live.............we also live in the country on our own place and I am thankful we have a bit of area and space between being exposed to any virus issues as we are in the "targeted age" group. Art, thank you for your nursing career and Bri thank you for sharing his time in the career he chose! blessings to both of you and the children. Have a beautiful weekend!
Very good that you’re getting so much of your food from the land and you are able stay away from stores. That silly steer. Glad he didn’t go running off too far. All the children help out, even baby Wilder.
Art, Every time I see you climbing over a fence (Justin does it too) I think: 1 you're going to get hurt and 2 you won't be able to do that ten years from now. Why don't you build a stile or two so you, and the kids, and Bri can traverse the difficult fences safely? You have the skills and can probably use scrap or saplings from the woods. I envy you young people your energy. The farm looks great.
My goodness... your dynamics with the baby is just sooooooo cute. I mean yeah, the baby R is cuteness incarnate, that's a given, but his interaction with you... so precious 😍🤩
Spiders and snakes! 😳 All your kids are precious. Goat's milk is supposed to be super soothing to the stomach. My niece could not tolerate breast milk or any formulas tried. Goat's milk worked! Keeping all of you in my prayers!💕
He didn’t know what to do with himself when you thanked him for helping 😉🥰 Beautiful tree Bri! More goat milk already 👍 looks like you made a good choice on the goats. Enjoy your time milking 💕
The look of pride on that precious baby's face when you praised him brought a tear to my eye. What an awesome dad you are. Not surprising you have such a great bunch of children.
Pure joy
Me too, so lovely to see the joy on a child's face coz daddy said that he had been a help, and in the background I could hear my neighbour doing the opposite.
The taste of any milk also depends on what the animal has been eating.
Art, you are such a wonderful father. Wilder's pride when you praised him for helping run the wire was so sweet.
Wilder is so cute now and his speech is getting real good fast. He just loves farming it looks like.
So so agree....
I am grateful you share your life with me. I learn so much and I smile soooo much. That's saying something to impress a 70 year old lady.!!
Wilder was so, so proud you acknowledged his help...I'm 66 and you two interacting gave me happy chills...
What a great father, and sweet caring man!
Every child should be so lucky to have a dad like you Art.
A little patch of heaven.
Thank you all for another nice closings day. God bless you all.
That baby is so helpful. Warms my heart!

watching your kids grow is such a joy love and cherish these days
Wilder was so delighted and adorable receiving praise for his efforts from Daddy.
The older children are great, too!
Love your lil helpers today.
Beautiful pastures, beautiful animals & beautiful family!! I love how you teach even the smallest child to help, and praise them for it!!
10:00 my favorite part, so precious the look for being a good helper!
It is just wonderful to see how you treat your children, Art. Even before you praised Wilder, I was thinking how beautiful it is that your children listen to you and are eager to learn. I'm also glad that you enjoy your farm so very much. Diane in NC
One cow, one baby, one runner bull, one fence, and a whole lot of cute children! 😉💖🌈🥰🐝🌻🙏🏼They can here the fence when it is on! 💚
I am so proud of Wilder! Good helper! Good job!
I LOVE watching the sky day and night.
Wilder loves doing things with his Parents. All your Children do.Agreed Art when you feed eggshells it can encourage Hen on Egg destruction
Lovely to see the joy you have being back home with your garden and animals,
Great call on getting the goats ☺️
You and Justin Rhodes are the BEST homestead UA-cam channels!!

May God bless you abundantly always. Art & Bri, you're both such an inspiration. What a blessing and a gift those children are. Much love to you all.
Maybe use white buckets for food and red buckets for non food, just a thought!
That is one amazing baby boy.

Oh my goodness, Bri, I couldn’t agree more about missing pigs when I comes to kitchen waste!!
Moving cows can be tricky, glad it went so well. Didn't know I needed to, PUFF UP, the pasture! I'll be sure to let my husband know, lol . Blessings!

Cows an horse's both know when a fence is on or off.
How? Can they feel the energy?

I am envious , gotta admit I miss wide open spaces.
Wow you are doing really well, God Bless You All :)
