I was in a small supermarket in a small quiet resort in Egypt. Maybe 5 or so people in there. I was paying at the checkout and I could see my boy (3 years old) about 3 yards away standing near the door. A few seconds later I went to that spot and he had apparently disappeared. OK he hadn't disappeared and was actually being held in the arms of one of the shop's staff pretty much at the point I had last seen him from the checkout. The point I'm making is that in the minute or so he was 'missing' I was in blind panic. I raced out of the door to look across the open square outside the supermarket. I looked in every direction outside before charging back into the shop and then ran up and down every aisle. I was in a state of sheer terror and panic for a minute or two and already beginning to fear the worst. The relief when I found him was overwhelming. Safe and sound. Now you try not to let your mind 'go there' but you can't help imagining what it could have been like if he had not been found. In my case, that blind panic would have carried on unabated. It would have gone on and on and I would have ripped up every brick in that resort until I dropped. I would have been in meltdown for months, years or probably forever. Now compare and contrast the reaction from the McCanns. I just can't believe them.
Always disturbed me how the McCanns washed 'Cuddle Cat' little Madeleine's favourtie toy. Surely a parent would never want to wash away the unique smell of their missing child, I know that I never would! Also, I feel that there is so much caution and lack of clarity when the McCann's answer what are fairly straightforward questions.
"Cooperated fully with the police." You got to be joking Gerry, you wouldn't even go back to Portugal for the reconstruction and why wouldn't Kate answer those 48 questions. "She woke up, and fallen back asleep very quickly." Kate, you silly cow, you weren't there so how did you know she'd fallen back to sleep very quickly.
And that is exactly what makes them mad. Because they can deny everything, they can tell everybody is lying, they can say that people wanted to frame them but what they will never be able to explain is those dogs' reactions.
Take the polygraphs, when you have nothing to hide! "Did Madeleine die while you were present?" "Did you return to the apartment and find Madeleine dying or dead?" "Did you move Madeleine's body at any time?" "Did your spouse move Madeleine's body at any time?" These are simple questions with no ambiquity in them.
I said from day one, WHO would even leave £50 note on their holiday bed and go have a meal and drink. I wouldn't. Also If you came back and your £50 was missing you would tear the place apart and check all the local area to see if you can find it. That's what the majority of people would do for our £50. I know clearly no sane person would leave a child, let alone 3 just to have a night out especially when there is a Creche available for safety. Doesn't sit right this
Who would leave 18 month old twins and a 4 year old alone in a foreign country with no child minder with contact number to notify the parents in an emergency as well as no burglar alarm system or CCTV to monitor the Apartment ?
at least the first million they raised in the 'find maddy' fund went to pay off their mortgage so that's one less thing for them to worry about. If this had been a family on benifits you best believe the press would have acted as judge jury and executioner
Claudia, to see these dogs in action is just amazing & heartwarming also to know the work and love which has gone into training them. I feel the same as you do, not that Madeleine was 'killed' per se, but that she died in the apartment somehow. What I cannot fathom is: a) how they could go to dinner that evening and act 'normal' with all that on their minds b) how would they first conceal & then dispose of her body when the world was watching their every move... none of that adds up.
8:43 I would be out frantically searching for my child from the onset of her "disappearance/abduction" - until I dropped from exhaustion. Her non-committal was NOT the typical reaction of a desperate 'not-knowing' parent.
I've just watched it right to the end and I cannot believe Kate never even looked for her own missing baby.My god, what kind of mother is she? The blood, the sedatives and the "guily as hell" reaction when asked about medication.Gerry always looks uncomfortable when answering questions. The police seriously need to investgate this further. If it was my kid I'd still be there. Why isn't she staying home with the kids while he stays there to keep looking? Still love that dog.I hope he's well paid
Its not SY that have ruled the dogs out its the Maccans that say they are unreliable I dont think I have read or heard any of the police forces anywhere in the world that have said the dogs are unreliable or useless . Anyway SY have no business interferring in the PJ case
THEFUNNANNA Exactly the crime happened in Portugal, lets just hope this Amaral trial brings forth some hidden secrets that we didnt know about, and we start getting to the truth at last!
Hi, Maggied264. It makes it all real, doesn't it? I completely agree. Before the dogs there were doubts and suspicions but the dogs made it painfully real. I have no idea how they could not search. I think only the McCanns and those who subscribe to their parenting methods can explain it. Good to read you, Amber! :-) x
Thousands are spent to train these dogs to do a specific task, They do a great job for the police, army, airports and so on, And this so called dr maccan says the dogs are unreliable, He needs to go to Iraq or Afganistan and see how many lives these dogs have saved, a lot of crimes would not be solved if it was not for these dogs. One day they will pay for what they have done, this charade can not go on any longer. I would like to see the british police to ask dr kate those 48 questions that she refused to answer in Portugal. After all, they did say in one interview that they would answer any query that was put to them, and also do anything asked of them, so, I would like to see you both hypnotized and do a lie detector test, or is that too much to ask for, this is a chance to clear your names.
Yes, I think they went to investigate two murders. It is such a shame, the british police believed gerry, when he quoted: the dogs are unreliable. I Always laugh to myself, when he says...ask the dogs sandra.
same here! i watched hours of this case recently to know more about it and im shocked they didn't look for her at all! a mothers intuition is that A) my child got up in the night and is off wandering down the streets looking for us or B) someone has taken her. she was with how many friends at the bar, would you not get him to watch the 2 other kids and round up every1 at the bar to look for her? and he said he felt someone in the room but still left her? there car trunk has been open for days?
@sooouuuuper Both of them aren't very good at hiding things. Gerry with his body language and Kate when she opens her mouth. That's why Gerry tends to hold her so he can control what she says.
wow! no tears on the interview, no angry reactions or desperation with that acquisitions.whatever!! they just look defenceless reading the body language (tense) and the way they ask the questions, they look like robots... Anyway!! Bah
Yeah, but I know one thing, they had nothing to do with Madeleine's disappearance. I know that, they wouldn't have spent thousands trying to find her, and yeah they do seem uncomfortable, they're normal British doctors with a normal life and now all of sudden there's questions being thrown at them and people thinking they're guilty, they don't know how to sit or act because whatever they do, if they look too happy, too mad, too uncomfortable, they're gonna seem suspicious to the public, it's became a thing that they're use to, they don't show any emotion to prevent those things.
Parody Lyfe They spent thousands trying to find their daughter? Thousands of other people's money, maybe. And even with other people's money they decided to waste in 'detectives' involved in all sorts of crimes. Research Método 3... I have a piece of land on the moon I'd like to sell you.
Sherlock Holmes I've just come across your comment... and it's interesting to see that the supreme Court in Portugal pretty much just said the same in the last appeal they lost against Amaral - there was insufficient evidence not that they are not guilty. but instead of truly focusing on "finding their missing daughter " they'll focus on suing Amaral and are now moving to have the judge's decisions dismissed because of what they said (which is merely the truth). if there was a chance they could really find their daughter they wouldn't care less of what a "disgraced cop " ( according to them) had to say. he touches a nerve and we all know why... the truth is often an inconvenience...
exactly, and they have used the find madelinne fund to pay their mortgage, as well as other things. I wonder if the people that gave money to this "charity" would be able to sue them to get their money back, as it was taken under false pretenses.
Hi, flippingflops. Agree with almost everything. I just don't think this is a murder case. I believe something went terribly wrong, but probably not on purpose. What followed is what I find more serious. And, of course, the neglect of all the children. May 2009 bring justice.
There are two dogs. Eddie, who is trained to detect cadaver scent and who barks when he finds it. And then there is Keela who is trained to find human blood and who freezes when she does so.
Hi, NicolaMG. People who have nothing to hide always volunteer to help the authorities because they know that whatever the authorities might find will rule them out.

What a good dog
Always disturbed me how the McCanns washed 'Cuddle Cat' little Madeleine's favourtie toy. I'm willing to bet that the McCanns won't be donating a penny to Battersea Dogs' Home..
They don't make donations, they take donations.
YES Gerry, We Asked The Dogs !! And Guess What? They Dont Lie, Not Even For A Head Pat!!
These dogs are so finely trained they can not be wrong
The Spaniel is not telling lies
That spaniel is a lying bastard. It's not even a spaniel. It's border collie with fake ears.
"Cooperated fully with the police." You got to be joking Gerry, you wouldn't even go back to Portugal for the reconstruction and why wouldn't Kate answer those 48 questions. The Springer Spaniel's 'Eddie' and 'Keela' have even been used by the F.B.I. in solving cases, these amazing dog's are unique.
Take the polygraphs, when you have nothing to hide!
"Did Madeleine die while you were present?"
"Did you return to the apartment and find Madeleine dying or dead?"
"Did you move Madeleine's body at any time?"
"Did your spouse move Madeleine's body at any time?"

Yes, exactly...
The way he touched his ear.

I bet they hated those dogs x
Who would leave 18 month old twins and a 4 year old alone in a foreign country with no child minder with contact number to notify the parents in an emergency as well as no burglar alarm system or CCTV to monitor the Apartment ?
Andrew Easson and the door unlocked!
And free babysitting!!!
Andrew Easson - the McCanns.
at least the first million they raised in the 'find maddy' fund went to pay off their mortgage so that's one less thing for them to worry about. If this had been a family on benifits you best believe the press would have acted as judge jury and executioner
There is still a charge on the property. They used fund money to make two payments. However, these are not nice people.
Eddie and Keela....you did your jobs and highly trained dogs don't lie. Somebody is lying. IMO it's a cover up.
Claudia, to see these dogs in action is just amazing & heartwarming also to know the work and love which has gone into training them.

those are top class cadaver dogs...music soo fitting..!!! dramatic, thanks,
Kate and Gerry are 1005% guilty.
Ha.. Exhausted 24 hours after, was y exhausted when she was playing tennis and god knows what else!
awesome little spaniel.
I've just watched it right to the end and I cannot believe Kate never even looked for her own missing baby.My god, what kind of mother is she? 5:10...Gerry is so lying! Touching your ear lobe is a sign that the person is lying.
It's a shame there is music on this video. It would be interesting to hear what they say. If I wanted to hear a song, that's what I'd search for.
Its obvious who took the girl. It was the dog, how else would it know all that?
those dogs are cool : )
I've read that cadaver dogs are 95-98% accurate. Why do SY appear to have ruled them out?
Its not SY that have ruled the dogs out its the Maccans that say they are unreliable I dont think I have read or heard any of the police forces anywhere in the world that have said the dogs are unreliable or useless . Anyway SY have no business interferring in the PJ case
THEFUNNANNA Exactly the crime happened in Portugal, lets just hope this Amaral trial brings forth some hidden secrets that we didnt know about, and we start getting to the truth at last!
linda lee Yep. eg.The Kercher/Knox murder trial was held in Italy where the crime happened, with no patriotic USA involvement. The Maddie case stinks.
In Portugal evidence has to be 100% before it can go before the courts!
linda lee That's not exactly correct or there wouldn't be trials where the defendant is acquitted.
If it wasn't for those pesky dogs . .
These good dogs can get paid more than a top police officer.
Hi, Maggied264. It makes it all real, doesn't it? I completely agree. Before the dogs there were doubts and suspicions but the dogs made it painfully real. I have no idea how they could not search. Well they helped solve a very similar case to this one in he states where there was no body, but cadaver scent detected, the mother was convicted!
Yes, I think they went to investigate two murders. It is such a shame, the british police believed gerry, when he quoted: the dogs are unreliable. I Always laugh to myself, when he says...ask the dogs sandra.
there not happy bunnies at the moment over the case being delayed check it out on my profile!
They want justice, What a cheek, Them two are the cause of this whole scandal.
Its so false its just all played out, now they are the poor victims, looking for compensation, I can read them like a book! lets hope the judge can!
Don't you just love that dog?
same here! i watched hours of this case recently to know more about it and im shocked they didn't look for her at all! a mothers intuition is that A) my child got up in the night and is off wandering down the streets looking for us or B) someone has taken her. she was with how many friends at the bar, would you not get him to watch the 2 other kids and round up every1 at the bar to look for her? and he said he felt someone in the room but still left her? there car trunk has been open for days?
no you havent co operated with the police fact you refused 48 qs
@sooouuuuper Both of them aren't very good at hiding things. Gerry with his body language and Kate when she opens her mouth. That's why Gerry tends to hold her so he can control what she says.

Mr Gerry sure not likey very awkward questions
Exactly!
I hope so. I really do. Madeleine deserves the whole truth (whatever it is) to be known.
Great video! Thx :)
You're welcome.
Hi, flippingflops. Agree with almost everything. I just don't think this is a murder case. I believe something went terribly wrong, but probably not on purpose. What followed is what I find more serious. And, of course, the neglect of all the children. May 2009 bring justice.
@TheAlienFan They're too busy suing to look for their daughter.
Yes, he is extremely well paid.
Excellent point. Couldn't agree more!
Those pesky dogs.
Hi, Liza. Thanks. I have the video on my blog since last night. Great interview. That is a journalist.
There are two dogs. Eddie, who is trained to detect cadaver scent and who barks when he finds it. And then there is Keela who is trained to find human blood and who freezes when she does so.
Lol, funny how Gerry knew that Calpol is a sedative drug, after he already tole the PJ that he and Kate only gave their children Calpol, hahahaha!
Interestingly they were not in panic thinking that the evil abductor could have killed Madeleine...
Hi, NicolaMG.
People who have nothing to hide always volunteer to help the authorities because they know that whatever the authorities might find will rule them out.
Always good to read it again!
I'm patiently waiting!
Thanks!
Thanks.
Dogs don't lie.......This footage is undeniable and irrefutable. Tell that to the McCanns!
Superb Claudia!
Clarence is taught how to lie at PR school.
Without a doubt.
HI, Lisa.
Trying to control the internet is a mistake. You close one site down and 3 more are born.
@ 0:12 Wow,that dog is amazing. My dogs (r.i.p floyd and shanna) never worked and sponged off me all the time.A pair of pampered pooches.Police dogs are the business, not forgetting guide dogs and all other dogs that have jobs. What a concept : )
As for the McCanns,it all seems well dodgy to me
Hello, uberwench7. Well, they have been generous enough to give us plenty of 'best moments' to comment on. :-)
As for there not being evidence, woof woof. :-)
You're very welcome.
Obrigada!
Hi, Liza. I can't say I find it surprising although I'm proud to announce that I have not see the video. Have just heard a few seconds of the Portuguese version on TV.
Exactly!
why have the comment ratings been disabled? not going the way Clarrie the pink spinmeister wanted? G O O D.
plus of course a ton of other things. saying the place is visable but the street side where someone could enter without them seeing would have to be from the garage door and they left it open? when asked about medication they don't want to answer, theres white bed and window ledge but the person didn't leave any shoe marks/dirt? left the other 2 kids sleeping/unharmed? didn't look for her and when asked how emotions are when sightings of her happen they say they don't feel emotion till they know
even mitchell said in one of speeches the mccanns kate and gerry didnt have anything to do with madelines death - a gruedian slip i think not
none of my comments are aimed at Maddie ,far from it ,they are aimed at the 2 people who should have been protecting her
lol touch the ear, so standar corporal language of a lie. blink eyes, etc kkk
Pois...
Excelente video btw!
CLAUDIA ,not once has my remarks been aimed at Maddie ,far from it,i am DEFENDING her and her right to a life ,taken from her by the very people who should have protected her,my htred of them is in DEFENCE of Maddie and her brother and sister
sedatives question, watch his body movements thats nervous look away touch ears wont look at interviewer clearly, as anyone who studies liars for a living will tell you,a man hiding the truth
Interesting times ahead.
Hi, Manero PRT.
There are several of them. If you mean the first one, it's called "Spente Le Stelle" by Emma Shapplin.
Go on to sky news website and you will find you can post a comment on any current news item .But not on the McCanns. Wonder why?
ffs !! why would anyone "plant" a scent ? they are GUILTY ,and i hope the new year sees an end to this circus ,and sees maddie get a proper burial ,and this vile pair locked up for murder, disposing of her body, child neglect, fraud and and embezelment
About the neglect that is a fact. About the rest, I also have many suspicions.
Hello, SaraDuncan. I trust the dogs. They don't lie.
Hi, emibak08.
I completely agree.
More amazing is the number of people who only have access to the crap that the tabloids print and who are still completely in the dark. Some don't even know that there are Police files.
That's sad to here, can I ask how you know this as I'm unable to find this out anywhere.
If those questions were answered, the case would be cracked. Personally, I think that survival might explain it all. When people are confronted with a situation, in order to survive, unthinkable, unbelievable things can be achieved.
Hi, Mary. No, that's not why. I chose not to enable that facility because I decided I didn't want a comment contest. No Clarrie influence. At least not in this case. :-)
Hear, hear Claudia.
Also, have been trying to reply CEOP with a video where Gerry has restricted CEOP books as his bed-side reading in PDL 2007... they haven't even given me a satisfaction why they are not interested in finding Madeleine AND the TRUTH...
so much for justice...
Thanks.
És Tuga?
Hunky old nappies and rotten meat....ridiculous and desperate
Hi, EnglishRedskin.
Thanks. Of course you can prove your innocence. If you can prove you were in a certain place at a certain time when a crime happened, you prove your innocence. As you say, there are also other ways of proving your innocence: answering all questions put to you, do a reconstruction when asked and do a polygraph are also ways of proving (or trying to) your innocence.
Well done Claudia!
Acho que só falta tradução onde G.Amaral Fala ao Expresso.
De resto, 5 *****!
Flippingflops, there is a reason why I have comment approval enabled. And this means that I only publish comments which I thing respect Madeleine. As I told you, I will not approve any comments which will have Madeleine and 'old bag of rubbish' in the same sentence. That is my right and I will stand by it, thank you very much.
Eddie has passed away from cancer some time ago.
I think so too...
I think many more members of the public are now wondering Claudia.
he was about to touch his nose, but changed it to his ear. look at his arm music.. def lying
One day, Marke06. One day.
