For eg, if there are no funds in the account, if the drawer dies or becomes insolvent or lunatic or if the court freezes his account , if there is a variation in the signature, if corrections are made in the cheque, if it's a post dated cheque or stale cheque, etc
Foreign bills are drawn in three sets. If one set is lost during transportation, the drawer can send the other set again. If the other one is also lost, the third set will be sent to the bank directly
