Trying to replicate certain effects with what you already have is such a good idea. I also follow the rule of trying to use up and enjoy what I have before trying something new. I'd like to see every makeup product as a gem that needs its proper time of appreciation. Also, it takes soo long to go through stuff. A well done Sephora sale video, critical consumerism combined with the sheer love and excitement for beauty products. Chic as always! :)
You talked me out of everything I had on my list - yay! Also, no one needs to go thru the peeling of using tret, it will work just as well if you do the following: put your moisturizer on first and then the tret every 3-4 days and increase by one day after a couple of weeks. And don’t put anywhere near your eyes:) Now you look younger and don’t have to go thru bad makeup days!
One thing to note, Sephora hugely jacks up the price on Kerastase (along with many other brands), at least in Canada. I also buy that spray you mentioned, and it is $75 on Sephora Canada and $63 through Kerastase directly. So if you aren't getting 20% off you really aren't saving or you may be paying more! I double check everything I want to buy
I love your mindful approach to shopping. Have a little fun without going crazy! I went today. The Eadem balms are the best and I got a second one, but the clear ones are always sold out. Every time I see someone talking about the Rhode or Summer Fridays, I want to yell “no, get the Eadem!” And, lol, I literally got that same Prada eyeshadow palette that I didn’t need because of Tanya! I took it out of my cart then stupidly went to the one Sephora that had them in-store and caved. And thank you for the Crown Affair cream recommendation. I got it a few weeks ago and love it.
So happy that the crown affair works for you too! we’re going to have a lot of fun playing with the Prada palette. that pop of purple is just the right amount of fun :)
i got mine from their website but it's been out of stock at sephora for AGES, wonder why they're not restocking it yet, i was sure they would have stock for the sale since it's so popular 😩
You can tell I am not a beauty influencer. I made my Sephora order last week because I completely forgot sale was coming! I ordered another Ciele foundation to replace my empty. That is a product I bought on your recommendation months ago and it was a great buy. It's the perfect daytime make up for me. I also ordered the Ciele bronzing stick, which I love, the Elodie color in the blush, and the concealer. You are so right about that concealer being great for dark spot coverage. II loved watching you deinfluence yourself! Nicely done.
I am so happy to hear that the ciele products are working for you too! I am almost out of my skin tint as well and will definitely be repurchasing as it’s an everyday staple for me now
Your videos are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+all the stars. I’m a close skin match to yours. Didn’t catch which shade you use for the Westman Atelier concealer. Please share!
That’s what I hope too. I will hold off until I read some reviews later down the line. I ended up decluttering all my old ones sooo soon it was very disappointing
I love your hair treatment and u said it takes u 2 years to use it, it takes me like years to use up my spray in hair treatment spray by Bona cure it called moisture kick. Just beautiful and smells beautiful 😍😍😍
Patric Ta Talk to my team was on my wish list as well 😹😹😹 ....and partially I am gald its out of stock ....that shade and spark for to it came from Lisa Eldridges shade Debutante ...its has that gold/pinky shift ...and I imagine Patrick is similar, just more glitetry....So I tipped Debutante with the topcout from CT and imagine I have something simular 😊
Yessss!! That’s exactly what I was hoping. I was a little let down by how subtle Debutante was, I wanted a bit more intensity, and the Patrick Ta launch happened at the perfect time lol I think I’ll try layering it with the Laura Mercier metallic Taupe too and see what happens 👀👀
The only thing I’m getting for sure is the Sephora collection foundation brush-30% is good enough I do wait on any Sephora brand products. Then I’m strongly considering the WA concealer and Iris and Romeo mascara-I was going to get them at 20% during the credo sale, but given that the concealer is something I would want to easily return if it truly didn’t work for me, the in-person returns make 15% at Sephora seem a better bet. I don’t currently have any full coverage base products, so I think the concealer will fill an actual need! I also just got quite a few things at Deciem’s November sale and am considering a few Rephr brushes.
Rephr brushes are great!! i recently bought their special limited edition cheek brush and eye brush set and have enjoyed them a lot but I think they’re sold out now 😭 I hope they bring the cheek brush back, it was truly special. And I agree sometimes with complexion products it’s worth getting it from a source that makes the return process easier if something doesn’t meet expectations (especially at the westman atelier price point)
@ the face/cheek brushes I have from rephr haven’t gotten as much use as I thought they would but I’m really excited about finally trying their eye brushes, especially the tiny crease brush and the little shader designed for applying glitter/shimmers! Then I also got the brush they say can be used for one/done cream eyeshadow OR concealer!
Recently purchased the TF Spanish Pink and a TF lipliner 103 Irresistible and they are beautiful together. IMO the lipliner is the best lipliner product I’ve ever tried by far. 😮🎉😊
It’s definitely going straight to the top of my wishlist!! I put myself on a lip liner ban until I use up a couple older ones in my collection but I am definitely planning on trying the Tom Ford ones in the future
Tania B did it to me …too! And you “made” me get the You Doux, which smells so good! Also, I have a tin with samples of your perfume recommendations. I even keep your fun descriptions with each of them, such as “Sexy Lumberjack, Pencil Shavings, Walk on a Salty Beach.” I have five grown sons, so you’re my daughter by proxy. Ha. Take care. 😊
Sounds wonderful, I'm like u I don't need anything but I do tend to buy different items. We have Mecca in Australia so I tend to buy what I really need but a few weeks ago u were talking about chantecaille sel iridescent eye shadow and I saw one in Mecca so I got one, so beautiful. I love it, I also got a Charlotte Tilbury eye liner in a brown colour, I got one that has half and half a shimmer eye liner - which is great as I now have that but I do have a Mac eye shadow in shroom that I probs could of used as that in my water line but it is easier in a pencil I guess. Great video, loved watching it and what u r buying. 😊 ❤❤
Love your videos the most! Since entering my 30s I really don’t focus much on makeup at all. It ages me. So tell me why I spent $900 on hair and skincare 😮 Oribe, SKII, beauty blender and matching cleanser, Crown Affair mask and dry shampoo, Sol de Janeiro and L’occitane travel kits (amazing for shaving), Touchland hand sanitizers, Moroccanoil travel purple mask, Olaplex, and for makeup I do have some frequent buys that I stocked up on… Anastasia pencils and brow freeze, Hourglass eyeliners (the best), and Westman Atelier dewy skin tint. Crazy that these are my so-called “necessities.” 😅
@@ashleyelizabeth8335 you replenished your staples! nothing wrong with that 🙂 I like that you focused on products that you would realistically use up in a year or so, so it’s not like they will sit and collect dust. it’s definitely interesting to observe our beauty habits changing as we get older, I still find joy and comfort in makeup but have definitely shifted my preferences and style now in my late 30’s.
I'm excited you compared the westman atelier concealer and the Haus Labs one. I was eyeing both of those for my next concealer purchase. I'm holding back this year and will get it next year. Great to know! I randomly tested the westman atelier, and it looked so good i immediately added to wishlist. I picked up the You doux because of your last video and all the reviews I read! It sounded so good and right up what I love. I'm excited to smell it, considering this was a blind buy. Haha I was actually so so good this year i really had to pat myself on the back. I only picked up one thing that I needed a refill on, picked up the 1 perfume and everything else were for xmas gifts!
@@ttsandra Hehe yes, thank you! I am surprised at myself for being able to hold back. Update! I got my package the next morning! They were speedy with this delivery, not even 12 hrs later it was in my hands. I adore the perfume. On me, it is a lighter, slightly more floral version of Le Labo Matcha! I told my friend about it too since she also loves Matcha. It has worn well too. I got about 5-6 hrs of wear and still smell it on my clothes but, it's much more faint now.
Here is what I bought: Moroccan oil dry shampoo, fenty eaze drop skin tint, Natasha Denona concealer, nars under eye brighter, tower 28 powder, eadem lip balm, and a travel size of Juliette has a gn pear inc!
Great picks!!! Thanks for sharing, I love this! the Moroccan oil dry shampoo has the most amazing scent, and I’m a big fan of the fenty skin tint too. You’ll have to keep me posted on how you’re liking the tower28 powder 🥰
I bought that exact Kulfi cream eye shadow - you don't need to get it. I am sure you (as I) have more than one shadow in your collection that mimics it. I even returned it. It was nice, but nahhh.
@ttsandra it's all good! Your recommendations are stellar! I am thankful for your content that helps me make informed decisions on products that work for me and bonus when it's discounted. I'm an thankful!!
I love this video! I just purchased the prada eyeshadow palettes since I wanted to complete my collection and that glossier perfume you recommended. I now want to try that Charlotte Tilbury eyeliner. It sounds like the Hermes eyeliner formula.
YEARS ago Charlotte Tilbury (before she started her own makeup brand) did some makeup tutorials on Lisa Eldridge’s UA-cam channel and she used a powder eyeliner pencil by Elizabeth Arden (I think lol) and raved about it and how that kind of pencil makes the best soft smoky line. I don’t know why but that random memory is seared in my brain. Then when she started her own line she made her own powder pencil and I’ve been a loyal buyer of it ever since lol I find it a lot easier to work with than other eyeliners/eyeshadows for that soft smoky effect
My favorite part is just adding everything that catches my eye and then laughing at the total. 😂
That sounds so fun 😂 Nothing seems to catch my eye this year. I am shocked!
LOL exactly my reaction when I looked at that initial total
Consider it a blessing!! it comes and goes in waves for me, some years I’m more tempted than others but I try to keep a balanced approach lol
@@ttsandra I have had a tough October so I’m very much in the mood this year! Having some gift cards saved up really helps.
