You are not the target audience of the TV, then. It is not just that "young people" (or however you define that target group) do not watch the TV because the TV is not providing the content they would like. It is also that the TV cannot possibly provide such content due to the format, so they have to focus on other things, which are then ultimately preferred by a a specific audience. Those two things are joined vessels.
The whole band is so down to earth, and Eugene is a great person and a beast on the bass! Such amazing artists...all of Jinjer!
the fact that eugene took the time to do this shows you the caliber of his character.
The band are the most generous humble people who will talk to anyone no matter the size of your channel or who you are.
I think they are well aware how important the reaction scene is for how big they got.
I've seen several times that he's done things like this...I don't think any other celebrity would do this type of thing

I just bought bass after watching him playing it.
Eugene is delusional if he doesn't think many people are watching him play bass. Dude you are an AMAZING bass player as well as totally inspirational to bass players out there wishing they had an ounce of your talent. Yeah a lot of people are Tatiana this, and Tatiana that and she is great, but everyone in Jinjer is just as amazing.
I don’t know how many people watch him but he’s one hell of a talent on that bass for sure for sure doesn’t even matter if people don’t watch him
He is Ukrainian. This kind of modesty is the cultural norm there, it has nothing to do with delusion. People in that cultural area tend to be very respectful and very humble about their achievements, sometimes to an absurd level. You will not hear them brag or overstate anything.
That's how good this freakin band is - I watched play throughs by all of their members. One of my favorites was Dreadful Moments with Vlad, Roman, and Eugene. But, yeah, Eugene is a BEAST.

Just the other day I was learning the bass part for Beggars dance and I did not realize how fun that song is. Super underrated.
Eugene is such a nice dude, then again Roman, Tatiana, and Vlad are all pure sweethearts too. The whole band are fantastic human beings.
Met them a year ago at a show in Toronto and Eugene gave me a big Ukrainian bear hug at the end of our chat hahaha. And the show was INCREDIBLE.
Eugene is the sleeper power house in jinjer, he gets over shadowed by tatianas voice but god damn he is good.

I mean, He doesn't get overshadowed by tatiana's voice, he gets overshadowed by her looks in the eyes of the horny weirdos on the internet. Anyone who actual pays more than a superficial glance almost always recognizes his playing.
Tati gets alot of well deserved attention but I hear so many people also complimenting all the other guys in the band especially Eugene. I am a super Jinjer fan.
I saw them live. Most of the time I heard (and felt) the bass a lot more than the vocal, Eugene is very prominent in the sound and the songwriting also gives him the room to be heard. Vocals, and especially distorted vocals, are the first thing to lose clarity when playing live and loud. I actually think that Tatiana, despite being extremely good and talented, is the "worst" member of the band. The instrumental section was absolutely flawless live, whereas Tatiana had some issues with the performance and made compromises (got very winded right away, avoided some notes, made some parts easier by not switching between clean and growl). She admits that she does not warm up, drinks, does not exercise for stamina, so she has huge reserves. Whereas the rest of the band seems extremely professional and consistent.
Dude so unbelievably stoked you got Eugene on here with you man, I’m always blown away by how cool he is and patient he is. As a fellow fan of these guys I can definitively say that they are definitely one of the best bands around.
Alex. Please bring your podcasts back and start interviewing all these musicians. I could listen to you for hours on how awesome of a host you are.

Alex said EVERYTHING at about minute 5 or 6. Tatiana is what get us all at first, but how good all band is individually AND together is what make people "stick" with Jinjer. I've been listening to them nonstop for like 2 weeks, since I've found them out.

Eugene seems like a very cool and down to earth guy, from all the interviews I have seen. I have to admit it was very cool to see Eugene react to one of his own songs. You can see the passion he has for his work.

It's so awesome Eugene took the time for this! Everyone who has met them raves about how nice and down to earth the whole band is.
Jinjer is possibly the best band out there for people that are true music fans. The band members are at the top in pure talent on their instruments, and Tatiana is greatness personified. I found them a few months ago and they've quickly become my favorite band.
Everyone is talking about Tatiana but Eugene is clearly the sexiest with his bass shredding skills.
The whole band is off the charts, it's not one it's all of them.

Good job Alex! Eugene is my favorite bass player by far. I'm in the Jinjer fan club on Facebook and Eugene is heavily involved with it. I had ordered merch from them and once I received it , I posted on the fan page and he was the first to heart it and react to it. Which was awesome. EUGENE! I hope you read this! I've listened to Opeth for 20 years as well, and I loved Jinjer before I knew you were an Opeth fan, but now I'm fantasizing about going to a show where basically only Jinjer and Opeth perform. I've listened to loads and loads of music like a maniac, from all around the world, from very different genres. My old top favorites are Opeth and Camel, and my newer top favorites (ones I got to know after 2010) are Riverside and JINJER. I used to be in a progressive rock band when I was younger, but I'm an Iranian, and metal shows have been banned here for the last 40 years. That being said, I can relate to your background, coming from a war-ridden hometown. I was born after a radical revolution, spent my childhood during an imposed war with a neighboring country (actually provoked by the USA and Britain to overthrow a regime they put there through a coup in the first place!). Now I'm almost middle-aged and the US sanctions on Iran are draining us the people of all our savings. Long story short. There are no rock/metal tours here, but I hope one day I can come to one of your shows. Your words are always inspirational to me. Love and Respect from Iran.

Eugene is the best. I met him last year in Toronto. He has a great mix of humbleness and confidence. Like he works really hard on his craft, and he knows he does and he knows he’s an awesome bassist, but is still very genuinely appreciative of anyone who takes the time to listen and be invested in what Jinjer does. Eugene is so fkn cool. So mellow and chill, yet so energetic and talented. Really a gift to us all. Know who he reminds me of? Geddy Lee. The humility is remarkable. Like you said, if you go around saying you're the best, nah, you're probably not.
And Eugene is one of the best. I've been playing bass 45+ years. His playing excites and intrigues me like few others. Hell yeah I'm watching Eugene play! Those playthrough videos are monstrous and inspirational. And very challenging to play! Almost every song pushes the limits of my capabilities. It might take me a week to learn one Jinjer song. It might take me three minutes to learn a song by most bands--I've learned it before it's done playing. Jinjer is fresh, intriguing, multidimensional, challenging, always surprising. Every time you think you've figured out where they're going next, they surprise you. That's gold. I've only known about them for about a year. Way late to the party, but they've totally changed the game for me. Most exciting band in the world right now.

Eugene is the best! Out of all members of this fantastic band, he seems to be having the most fun on stage. I saw them last fall, and Eugene was my favorite part of the show. He was the only band member that was interacting with the crowd and I even got a fist bump afterwards

Jinjer is very intricate and different. They seem to seek perfection in every song. May get slammed but they remind me of Metallica in the fact that they seem to be perfectionist and so melodic with metal. So much attention to details in the music.

Whaaat? Eugene on your channel, reacting to his own music? Is this a first for a reaction channel? Mind blown. Jinjer's amazing. They deserve success. I saw them in a small club in Oct 2019. Gave Eugene and Sasha (sound master and Jinjer's fifth Beatle) a fist bump. I tried to share with Sasha they were about to drive through Sitting Bull's home turf and past his resting place (Tati has him tattooed on her forearm), but it was too loud to explain. Oh well. Was planning on seeing them x2 when COVID shut down the tour. I hope they're surviving financially waiting out the pandemic. Can't wait for the next tour. You're right about marshal arts. It requires commitment.

One of my favourite things about Jinjer (apart from everything) is that the bass is so prominent.
Everything was HUGE, just like Eugene's humbleness and inspiring personality, but... where the hell has the rest of this reaction gone!?? 🤔
Anyway... thanks for this, Alex, and thanks for having told to Eugene exactly the same things I would have said about Tatiana, him, the other master musicians of this wonderful creature born in Music... JINJER. The Major Band across two decades yet still so young. Sky is the limit!
