From toy to movie ready replica. Well done. Looks amazing!
Damn Sir! You’re the man! That Shii came out CLAAAEEEENNN!
what a difference 👏 outstanding job
Looks fantastic! Good work.
Amazing video my man. GET THE 89 MEZCO BATMAN! It would look amazing next to your vehicle!
Thank you! Yeah, I should be receiving one here soon. My wifey just got me the MEZCO Joker, so it's only right that I get the Batman.
Great work dude. Been tempted to pick one of these up and modding it. For future reference, the 89 Batmobile isn't glossy OR flat. Its actually a satin finish. It has some gloss, but not super refletive.
That makes sense. I have a ton of Satin paint that I use for Proton Packs... I might just send the Batmobile back to the pain section. Good lookin' out.
Really nice looks amazing
Damn, man. That looks smooth. The canopy looks great. I just got the Amazon exclusive version which looks great already, but the canopy mod makes it perfect. Great job.
Thank you! Yeah, I almost got the Amazon exclusive until Amazon played me with their Kung-Fu Treachery. Are you going to customize yours?
@@thepropwiz7121 I am a customizer but I'm going to leave mine as is.
Preciate that, bro!!! Was definitely a challenging task. You did AWESOME! I’m in Florida, Central Florida to be exact. So the heat and humidity decides what days I paint, big time. BEAUTIFUL work, man!!!! *sorry for the late comment. Was on vacation for a bit.
Wow amazing bro ❤
Thank You!
Love the work u did . I’m on the same boat I got the Batmobile today and I totally don’t remember where I put my neca Batman haha and I’m mortified cause I know is somewhere 😂
Thanks for making this video
ugh. The worst feeling. When I bought my Neca Batman was back when before I knew these things could sell out and disappear off the face of the earth. I got my hands on the Mezco and the Beast Kingdom's Batman though. Thank you!
Dope modification!!!! I Just finished spraying mines today as well, I just have to paint the bat symbol on the tires grey/silver.
Thank you! How did everything come out?
@@thepropwiz7121 It came out fire!!! Watching your video really helped in not making things too over complicated, and over thinking things. Good looking out fore sure!
Great job! You should see the one I did!
excellent video your passion really comes out, really enjoyed your video keep it up man!!
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
Subscribed!!!!
Great video. The good news is now that the gold label has dropped, the price of the one you have dropped from 200 to around 80 bucks. I picked up the gold label, just haven't taken out of the box yet. I might pick up the other one to try and customize it. Valentine had lights and everything in his. It was cool. You did a great job on yours bro.
Thank you! You're absolutely right about the gold label. I was able to get my hands on one and it's on the way now. I'll probably keep it in the box a while before deciding whether I want to customize it or not. Oh yeah, the lights look real nice! If I 3D print one, I may go all out with the features. Glad you got your hands on one though!
Facts cuz in some parts of the film 89batman batmobile rims and sides/ turbine look bronze to me. Even the post of Keaton with the batmobile rims look bronze color
Right. I still have the poster of Keaton's Batman with the Batmobile and it's clearly bronze. Batman Returns it went all silver and I think that's the one that Warner Bros. kept and tour with and I'm guessing the one that made an appearance in The Flash.
New subscriber here.
I'm new to customising and took on the canopy and messed it up
I'm sorry to hear that. No way to salvage it? I had a couple of moments where I thought I had jacked it up completely and was able to save it in the end. I still have that feeling that I could do it better the second go round. Cutting into that plastic was no easy task and was easy to mess up. Don't let this you discourage you from customizing other things... it's usually easier.
@thepropwiz7121 Hi no it was to far gone so bought another batmobile. I didn't take on the canopy just gave it a re paint with matt black
That mod looks dope. I've been thinking of doing mines but I'm afraid I will mess it up, lol. Question. What batman is that on the table?
Thank you! Yeah, I understand the fear of messing it up as cutting into the plastic was unpredictable. If the glass was a separate piece from the rest of the canopy it would've been easier. The Batmobile isn't as rare as it was when I did this video so the risk is a little less. The Batman on table is the Mezco 1989 Batman Designer figure. Like you, I saw it in someone's video and had to have it lol. I've got a Beetlejuice and a Freddy Krueger from the series as well.
Cool, we must always modify, it's never the most definitive with mass produced even though they are very detailed, articulated action-figures and statues which we have to thank sir Todd McFarlane for being hte pioneer and father of that like Shenmue the father of all open-world games (not so much with the statues, they are nice out of the box).
I would make it all die-cast and real glass (Gorilla glass so it can be bent) and then I'd paint it with ceramic coating, sand it for matte-glossy (aka satin finish like in the 1989 movie) so it can't be scratched coz' it should be played with every sunday with kids and with adults alike.
Got to install a very small OLED for the interior screen and computers. :-)
God bless.
Well said. I like your idea for customizing the Batmobile. I'm thinking about 3D printing one and going all out on the features.
@@thepropwiz7121 You're welcome, there is very hidden gem, japanese toy maker (founder doesn't need sales, he's already an heir, it's purely his hobby and love of kind of action figures with cool articulation. They only make their own characters which has the cutest faces of in all toydom/figuredom) who makes the most realistic clothes of all the tier-S toy makers in the world, the shoes are the most real (real leather make w/ real show process): Smart Doll (I think by now they already made their robot too).
@@thepropwiz7121 Thanks for the time to share cool customs, btw, you may want to customize these, it's one of the most customizable: there is very hidden gem, japanese toy maker (founder doesn't need sales, he's already an heir, it's purely his hobby and love of kind of action figures with cool articulation. Is there anyone that sells a custom canopy? Great job.
I saw some out there on Reddit when I was researching for customizing mine. There may be more out there now that more people got the hands on the Batmobile. Cutting into that plastic was stressful and I did have some moments off camera where I didn't think I was going to be able to do it, but it was worth it in the end. Thank you!
You're in Georgia? Based on the backdrop of your studio l had thought you were in GOTHAM CITY.
lol. I'm sure James Gun DC will have at least some of Gotham City filmed in Atlanta.
Did you paint the windows from inside the canopy ? So it give it that tinted window look? Been wanting to do the for mine I hate that u can see inside
Can you guys list where I can get the pieces parts to do some of these mods with the 3d printed parts? Such as canopy, 2 seater… the .50 caliber Browning guns…
Not STLs but Check ramen toy, for $19 plus shipping you get canopy, guns and gas caps. They posted lots of videos about the product and process, shipping is due in February, 1000 pieces available. I'm not affiliated 😉
The modification that every BurtonMobile needs is a bat head on the front (a 'demon on the grill'). Custom builders: Make a fortune! Kenner Dark Knight Collection BMobile needs one.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can I send you my canopy and help me to modify?? I can Zelle you the payment or something. Please… because I don’t have any tools or equipment otherwise I’m happy to mod. myself…
