@@severusfloki5778 It means that normally, we try to think of growth in the terms of "how many things can I add to my life to make it better?" The thing is that we find all these things that are supposed to change our lives and add them all at once thinking that by adding more things to our lives, we will become better. The problem with this is that more often than not, we don't spend as much time developing these things that we add to our lives one by one. Instead, we are too busy finding new stuff to add. That is scaling horizontally. To scale vertically, we still get pieces to add to our lives but we start with a few of them. Instead of flitting from one thing to another without fully developing them, we go in-depth and make sure that we completely solidify one thing in our lives before moving on to add the next. With that, you'll see more progress down the line because of the fact that you have taken the time to work one one aspect before proceeding to another I hope this helps. Have a nice day/afternoon/evening 😊
This video offers overall fine conventional wisdom. Just a few things I would add: 1. don’t throw out the shirt, donate, or better still don’t get it in the first place. 2. There is a function of gossiping in social life like exchanging valuable info and bonding. Gossip sparingly and constructively. 3 do not keep giving if you are in an abusive relationship.
I raised three children, had 2 times horses in my life, Two dogs, cats, bird, rabbit... I never needed this to have marvelous experiences. Life is a Wonder. More and more, Each day. Simply, having someone to share it with is a blessing...
All exceptional advice. I have quite a bit of trouble keeping things simple, there’s a lot I need to work on and I get lost within the list and discourage myself a lot due to that. A part of me wanting to be myself, a lot of it is wanting to help others, in which, I focus on that more than myself. Even though I need to better myself, I have troulbe untangling myself from that.
i relate, however i think what has resonated with me is the verticle perspective. If i just focus deeply on one thing the other things i feel i need to work on will sort themselves out - as it makes life simpler and easier to make real progress and change on. Wishing us all the best!'
1. Give away stuff to charity, particularly clothing. If you itemize taxes, particularly look into charity deductions. 3: Amazon, (although I still don’t see how buying homes fits into their business model).
#9 is, to some extent, an integration of #1, #2 and #4. Maybe you should get rid of flaky relationships (#1) and find other fulfilling ones (#4), so that when you "give, give, give" in your relationship efforts (#8) you can fulfill your own expectations (#2) on what means to be in satisfying relationships. I hope that my view could help clarify your dilemma.
Another intriguing video, #8 especially had me (ohhh ok) and number 9 should be first but I can understand why you put it last. And, for once, I have a question. The horizontal thing. ???? It's new to me. I'm pretty sure you're not talking about sex...but u lost me there.
Hey I love your content. Your stories are very interesting to the point where I even started my OWN UA-cam channel! Thank you for the inspiration and keep putting out these kind of informative content!
While its definitely true your dividends will keep flowing in a bear market; however the amount of the dividend will decrease if the share of the stock decreases.

OceeArts 👍
@@oceearts7992 You can simplify all of that by saying...don't add on more things at once.
@@gusgrizzel8397 yeah I guess that would have been simpler. Thanks

Be yourself. Don't try to please others to earn their love. Even if it works it will be the false image of you that they love, not the real you.
@Matt Ludwig 👍
becoming yourself after never knowing who you are your whole life is the greatest feeling
truest words

Your videos are the best example of all this things, they are simple and clear.
Thanks Alejandro

This is the best thing I have watched in a long time
Happiness is found in simplicity
Agree!
Amen. The more I’ve gotten rid physical clutter or eliminated the things that I don’t desire to do, the simplicity has been a breath of fresh air
Plz make a detailed video on how could be truthfulness to oneself is achieved
Love it. Super helpful and simple.
Don’t throw the shirt away

Love that you mentioned this!
Number 3 needs it's own episode frfr 🥃 cheers
I love your videos! Thank you and please continue to share 😁
Excellent tips.
Don't gossip is a good one.
Thank you so much❤️

Hate prescriptive lists, but this is worthwhile. Promise. 🌐💕
Definitely done before the pandemic.
Thank you!
you couldn't articulate it no better than...well, thank you...🔥🔥🔥RED🔥🔥🔥
This channel cure my procrastination as they do not allow us to watch later lol
I need more clarity on 8 and 9. I feel like I give to exhaustion and can’t balance my 8 with my 9.

OMAD helped me simplify my life so much
I don’t mean to be daft but what does it mean to scale vertically?
Go deep into a fewer things like practice guitar well but leave the piano oboe violin and drums.
Definitely gotta learn to scale vertically, not horizontally. I keep trying new things and focusing too lightly on anything.
Creative people struggle with this, everything seems so interesting. And that dopamine hit when you learn something new..

It is either destiny or luck that this video just has been uploaded, while i was simplyfing my life.
Same
It was a happy accident
Number 5: don’t overbook your calendar - or do, as long as you can ensure a longer break for charging back up soon afterwards!
While its definitely true your dividends will keep flowing in a bear market; however the amount of the dividend will decrease if the share of the stock decreases.
Didn’t get the 8th. Give to who? Give what?
Give exactly what?
8th tip is from GaryVee :D
If you dump people because they don't serve you anymore, that sounds like what a narcissist would do
Point 8 could have used more explanation, I feel.
👍
Skip the nr 8. I lived that philosophy once - backfired. give time to yourself instead. And all will fall into place then.
How to simplify your life: For starters, don't watch videos on the topic that are longer than 7 minutes. Thats clutter lol
