This is where you know that you have skills! To catch a fish of that size on the tackle in hand, you got to know what you are doing the entire fight! Nice catch of the snook there!
Seriously happy for you dude don't think you could have written how well that session ended, that was one tense battle had me on the edge of MY seat... Love the skiff vids 👍
Not bad -- Not bad at all. The thing about fishing is the surprise... ya just never know -- then again, if ya don't keep casting, you'll never know!!! Nice work! Be Safe
Home ramp should open up again on Friday. That snook was thin for its length, far from the ocean for this time of year too... I would except that combo in the winter.
Awesome video do the fact that hard work persistence is what made that catch so rewarding but I don't have to tell you that you are feeling it Congrats
What a great reward, few years back I learned from you to double check my leader after I catch a fish and it made a very big difference in increasing my chances of landing a Fish 👍
Great fishing Lawson. I know the Rover is not the most comfortable way of fishing but some of your coolest videos were while fishing on it! Keep it up!
Redfish are slow eaters and typically scavengers. They love eating very injured/dead fish and I’ve noticed sight fishing that when they’re following a lure and I give it some extra twitches to make them think it’s getting away they turn off of it... very disappointing lol. Though sometimes when they’re fired up they really don’t care! Either way sick vid! -Nick, Merritt Island FL
Not trying to start a fight but What? I fish all around Merrit Island and my favorite way to catch a big Redfish is a fast moving walking topwater bait! They will produce the biggest wakes you have probably ever seen from sometimes as far as twenty yards away and smash it! They also go after a small gold spoon that you can reel almost as fast as you can. Black drum, different story all together, they are slow and methodical. My biggest Reds have all been from fast action lures.
Lawson i hope to god you see this. I met you at angelos a few years back and have been a mega fan ever since. I actually saw you on the river passing you while i was in my 13ft whaler and you threw me a peace sign. Love you bro keep up the great work
Please master lawdawg can you drop a link for that little line cutter thing you keep attached to you. Feel like it would cut minutes off the retie process
Nice nice snook to cap it off! I have a power pole micro on my boat and it’s actually my second because the first one dropped the pole on it’s own when I was on the outboard and it ripped the whole thing off... I wonder if anyone has had that problem. I keep looking back at the pole now I don’t trust it but there isn’t anything else like it for the price... maybe I should run a switch to the battery to have peace of mind.
Yo Lawson I bought the exoswim baits you always use I went out and used them first day 3 over 20in reds blowin up on it I’m going to try the sukoshi soon
14:44 the prayer of a faithful man

Nice fish. You should consider tagging those fish caught in the mangroves. It would be interesting to see if they would be caught again elsewhere.
Gorgeous Snook!

Hey Lawson not to get to personal but what's the average cost of one of those skiffs man ? Awesome video btw👍
2-5 grand depending on the package. I was looking into them but decided to just wait for a nice 2-3k used 16 foot boat to come up.
