Watch the admins nerf all the other types of mining instead of fixing gemstone mining.
Yea I have been watching as they buffed mining pets like silverfish and made gold,micelium,red sand,flint gravel and hard stone and probably more while making Gemstone mining 2 million less good an hour…shut it.
Hopefully the admins had a plan to introduce some sources of gemstone spread to fix rates, as they said something like this when they nerfed pristine
Today's huge surprise: admins tried doing something and made it worse.
their goal was to make bal and mining worse, i saw this coming since last year mining was outcompeting everything else in relation to startup cost (with a bal and gauntlet) in my opinion they shouldve buffed the other ones
@lerpog4509 Fr. Instead of making the other ones better, they just made mining suck. New and early game players who are just getting into mining will now take atleast 50 times longer to max everything out since mithril powder is going to be a pain to get now.

@@lerpog4509 Mithril powder. 50 is just a random number, but it isn't exactly exaggerated since now you have to spend much more time getting much less mithril powder. I've participated in every event that I could since update while also mining mithril for powder. I've only accumulated 600k mithril powder...you need 8.5m mithril powder....Now imagine being much less progressed than I am in mining, without a mithril golem pet with jasper drill and that new reforge that gives you 20% more powder. Yeah it's gonna take you a very long time, at least much longer than before. Yeah gemstone powder got buffed like crazy, but how does that help you get more mithril powder? You're still gonna have to spend atleast 100 more hours in Dwarven mines.

I'm not against the heat change, I think drinking water every once in a while is a cool system, but bro the rates are insulting and the mining speed 'nerf' makes good tps and ping all the more important for rates.

They didn't they buffed gemstone mining in mineshafts significantly so the best strat to mine, which no youtuber has seemed to have figured out, is mining with a party and warping into mineshafts one after one with the broken mineshaft HOTM perks

@@theRotengen That's literally a dumb strat because you can't efficiently mine with more than 2 or 3 players in one mineshaft but by keeping your party that small you will have too much downtime between mineshafts to make decent money

You should use heated reforge when mining ruby in magma fields, it scales with the amount of heat you have and you can maintain high amounts of heat for a long time with the heat resistance you have
Word is some of the mining festivals were not giving x2 drops because of a bug after the mining update went live.
If a thing has been in the game for years and you barely if ever acknowledged it its best to not change it
Wrong.if something is balance or game breaking or stops progress then it must be changed : bal NEEDED to be nerfed cus his ability was multiplicative and made the damn balancing a nightmare.
Gemstone gauntlet NEEDED a nerf cus a fucking tool that is only slightly weaker then a top of the line tool shouldn’t happen. Learn some common sence nerd.
@@lflf8619bal needed a nerf. Did gauntlet really? It was so much worse than a 655 for making money because it gave 0 fortune, it was super nice for the people who, believe it or not, don’t want to spend their life savings to be able to break glass better. The mining speed nerf was fine, flowstate does actually make up for it, but I really wish they left the breaking power the same, even touching glacite tunnels has a 500m price tag now (you can use jasper drill, but it’s so terrible against everything except gemstones)

U should use milk buckets instead of water bottles since they remove like 50 heat instead of 10

The only good thing to come out of this update was the upgraded haste ring so you don't need silverfish pet in dungeons.
So the micelium,red sand,flint,hard stone and gold mining buffs don’t exist?…the rng meter peoples been begging for for years is trash?…oh or maybe the pure ores that make getting collections easier without a route was an evil change?…the gauntlet breaking progression was totally fine before…the bal pet’s multiplicative third perk that made balancing a nightmare (the admins litterally said so) and stunned the admins out of making good mining upgrade maybe?…how about you go read real conserning things and shut up.

@@elbowman8826 gold mining is a stronger money making method.they didn’t yet add more ways to get gemstone spread.there is tweaking that needs to be done cus obviously it ain’t perfect but still.you are all acting as if it is the ONLY GOOD MONEY MAKER…when is not…check up on money making methods and try a little harder to find something.
Yeah a lot of those don’t make great money to npc, plus gemstones are the only way for glossy gems
@@defrostd glossy gem is a chore but gold mining was seen to perform up to 30 to 35 million an hour to npc even after the pure ore nerf.did you at least try it?

This is just ridiculous. L update no one asked for. If they wanted to stop bal and mining from being too OP, maybe they could've just buffed the other money making methods, but now they just made it take another few hundred more hours for early game players to progress in mining and the gap between the new and old players just keeps getting wider and wider. Here's an idea Hypixel if you happen to read this comment: Make new stuff for older and more progressed players and leave old stuff for newer and less progressed players. Not everyone and everything has to be included in an update. This game is heavily focused on progression and its very unfair to change it for players who didnt even get a chance to enjoy the rest of the game. And now they're stuck in dwarven mines for 200 hours trying to get enough mithril powder to max their hotm.
That was kind of the problem with bal, any new stuff they introduced would automatically be 15% better in ch, aka the mid-game mining area

This is literally like the Genshin Novelette update, the admins really just nerfing mining so people goes to foraging when it comes out what a fking joke. If ur changing that much in one update just admit you fked up, don't try to say that its changed because players "aren't playing the way we intended to"-what do you expect? Its emergent gameplay! No.admins nerfed one bit of mining…there is still a fucktonne of fucking buffs to OTHER mining methods.

i think that due to your high mining speed, i would recommend using maniac miner ability instead of MSB, with wisdom V on your divan armor for high mana, you can get up to +1000 mining fortune
I was making 30m/h in my 5 min test on gold with no bleg so with it you might be able to get 40m/h gold mining no fiesta
My ruby route went from 28m/hour to like 17m/hour outside fiesta :/

efficient miner does not work on gemstones. Efficient miner gives mining spread, while gemstone spread works on gemstones.
