Me and my book "Magical Healing" at Llewellyn: llewellyn.com/... .
An example reading with reversed cards (as usually known from Tarot) about a friendship question.
This was just a test but I think it worked fine and one should keep this possibility in mind, when reading Lenormand.

I have tried it. And it does work. The oracle adapts to your code.

I really enjoyed this video and I like the idea. I hope that you will consider doing another series of Lenormand and Tarot in English. Thanks.

I feel this could be useful. Without reversals, you have to pull so many more cards to see what's really going, and how much more or less to weigh a cards meaning (even though they have predetermined weights)

I have been wondering......Do any readers lay the GT to read for just a smaller reading like 9x9 or 5 card reading. Or mostly just lay small spreads for small reading? It seems it could work to lay GT and find the appropriate cards and read the smaller spread from there. I haven't played with it much....hhhhm.
Huh, I am not sure if I like reversals for the Lennies. Or too much deviation, when they seem to do superb readings. However, It's nice to go with what makes sense. I'm Stuck in my traditional Lenormand way. Exploring is fun too tho.
    Thank you soooo much hexe-claire!

Gina Haffie Mostly one does a smaller spread for smaller questions, to get to the point quickly. But it is also possible with the GT, of course. :) Oh yes, I also find myself often between tradition and the curiosity to explore things. In general I´m more a traditionalist. Things have to stand the test of time, they really have to prove that they work. But on the other hand it should not be too strict or too "holy", it still has to be fun!

I wonder what cards you would have drawn if you were not using reversals. That would be an interesting experiment. Same question first without and then with reversals. I think I'l give it a try.

anne robinson I assume it would be different cards but with the same meaning (like: many ways lead to Rome). This is really something to try out. Theory is one thing, but practise is another. ;) I´ll keep this in mind and will do a comparison video with two decks and both methods.

This doesn't follow the traditional Lenormand system. I thought readers only do reversals in Tarot, and I thought Lenormand isn't at all the same as Tarot. Now I'm confused

Please don´t be confused, this was just a try! You can play with the cards a little and try things out, but you don´t have to do it like that.
